Paul Sanders spotted the "Revenge" Lingenfelter GTO. It showed up the last day and was registered number 407 in the show. So obviously there must have been over 400 GTOs at the show. This car is serial no. 0001, as in the first production one made. The Kokomo dealership owner, Charlie Conkle bought this one. Conkle's now has a black one on their show room floor. The lady from Australia asked Paul if he prefered to have the bonnet down? So Paul said yes and she closed the hood! Put another shrimp on the barbee. CLICK->
This Red 2006 GTO had many body modifications. It is the "Revenge Designs Edition" car. It has a low profile spoiler, modified rear bumper, center exit dual exhaust, wheel flares, and modified side rocker panels to name a few. The license plate and emblem on the rear bumper say "Revenge". 2,000 of these are slated to be built. Cost is about $56K. Photo by Todd Smith. CLICK->
The rear plate says, "Revenge Designs Edition". It also is surrounded by carbon fiber. Photo by Carl Niethammer. CLICK->
The "Revenge" 2006 GTO has a supercharger under the hood. You can see the Lingenfelter name on the engine. The engine puts out 530 HP with 500 lbft torque. Those are 245x35 20-inch tires. Photo by Todd Smith. CLICK->

Study the photo. You know some fun is about to happen. Robin Proffitt took most of the photos because her husband Cap was running the autocross course. That was a blast. Robin rode along in the Proffitt's '65 GTO on Cap's last two runs. CLICK->

The autocross cars were numbered. The years of cars ranged from 1965 to 2007 (I suppose?) This photo was cropped to leave the sky in there. I discovered it has a UFO on it. A closer examination of the larger original photo shows a craft with a light silvery metal top and a shadow underneath. Certainly there could be a UFO over Ohio? Was it an extraterrestrial craft sighting on an overcast day at a car event? Maybe! Photo by Cap and Robin Proffitt. CLICK->

Here's a comment from a recent visitor...
Says Larry Parks (deuceguy.@city-net.com) - "I have not had a car in 15 years and would like to get back into the game. I can't tell you how many cars used to just follow me home. However I've been out of this for a long time and times have changed."
