CLICK-> Black 69 GTO Convertible [an error occurred while processing this directive] Triple black 1969 GTO convertible with the optional cornering lamps. See them ahead of the front wheels on the fenders. They turn on (steady) when the directional and headlights are on. The idea is to light up the corner you are turning into. Photo by Don Barr.

CLICK-> 1970 GTO Race Car [an error occurred while processing this directive] Take a look at this 1970 GTO race car. The side says "Tiger Tail Racing." Photo by Todd Smith.

CLICK-> Green 70 GTO [an error occurred while processing this directive] Paul Sanders snapped this picture of a Pepper Green 1970 GTO hardtop. Keith told Paul he bought the car in 1974 and he was already the 4th owner. After decoding his data plate, he found out the car originally was a triple green car. He talked to the 3rd owner and he said it already had a black top when he bought it in 1972. Keith said the dealer may have changed it to black to try to help sell the car when it was new.

CLICK-> Blue 70 GTO [an error occurred while processing this directive] Keith Rossell snapped this picture of his Bermuda Blue 1970 GTO. He wishes to thank his wife and kids who rode the 5 and 1/2 hours it took to get to Columbus, Ohio on the back roads of Ohio and Indiana.
CLICK-> Suck'in up the Gas [an error occurred while processing this directive] Here is Bill Sanders' 1966 GTO, Craig George's 1965 GTO, and Keith Rossell's 1970 GTO pumping some Shell in a small town in Ohio on US Route 36. Photo by Keith Rossell.
CLICK-> At the Drags [an error occurred while processing this directive] GTOs get in line for their last pass before the rain sets in. Both GTOs are blue with black tops. One a 1970, the other a 1971. Taken by Keith Rossell. Keith adds, "Thanks again Prez. The Nationals were great. Thanks GTOAA."

CLICK-> Orbit 70 Judge [an error occurred while processing this directive] This is an Orbit Orange 1970 Judge hardtop parked in front of the pine trees. The plate on the front reads "ALL RISE!" Photo by Don Barr.

CLICK-> Blue 72 GTO [an error occurred while processing this directive] This is a blue 1972 GTO which is owned by one of the members of The Cruisin' Tigers chapter of the GTOAA. Photo by Don Barr.

CLICK-> 73 GTO Line Up [an error occurred while processing this directive] There were four 1973 GTOs all in row. The one all the way to the right still wears its original Valencia Gold paint. The black one (2nd from right) took best of show a couple of years ago. Photo by Paul Sanders.
CLICK-> Two 73s [an error occurred while processing this directive] A close-up of the white 1973 GTO Sport Coupe next to the black one. The photo was taken by Joe Sparks who owns the black one.

CLICK-> Black 73 GTO [an error occurred while processing this directive] Black 1973 GTO Sport Coupe owned by Joe Sparks. He drove to Columbus from Alsip, Illinois - that is about a 350 mile trip. Taken by Joe.
CLICK-> Black 73 GTO [an error occurred while processing this directive] Joe Sparks sent in this delicious view of his black 1973 GTO Sport Coupe.

CLICK-> 74 GTO [an error occurred while processing this directive] Richard & Nancy Whaley brought two cars. This is their black 1974 GTO. Next it is their 1970 Judge! See how the sign for the 1974 says "Special Paint (Black)" That is because the 1974 GTO wasn't offered in black as a standard color. To get black you had to special order the car! This shot was taken by Paul Sanders.
CLICK-> Concours Judging [an error occurred while processing this directive] It is Concours judging time. Richard & Nancy Whaley's triple black 1974 GTO is undergoing the scrutiny of the judging team. This takes place under the covered entrance to the host hotel at the convention. Photo by Don Barr.
