The GT-37 name is contained in the big decal stripes down the side on a 1971 1/2 GT-37. It's also got the 400ci engine according to the emblem on the rocker panel behind the front wheel. CLICK->
We learned at the convention that the wire for these hood retainer pins is easy to duplicate correctly. Just go down to the local Bait & Tackle store. Ask for vinyl coated cable. CLICK->
Black 1971 1/2 GT-37 with gold stripes. This one is owned by John Sawruk, Pontiac Historian. CLICK->
Black 1971 1/2 GT-37, right rear view. This one has the chrome door drip and rocker moldings. The license plate on this one reads simply "GT37". CLICK->
White 1971 T-37 hardtop. It says 455 HO on a decal just in front of the front wheel opening. From a distance, you might think this car was just a LeMans. Check out the "Pontiac" balloon in the background. Throughout this multi-day show, the balloon was tethered alongside the parkway. CLICK->
White 1971 T-37 hardtop, left rear view. This Michigan car has sport mirrors. In the distance you can see an italian restaurant that was quite popular during the show. CLICK->
Tom Konen's Nordic Silver 1971 T-37 hardtop with a black vinyl top. This one has vintage 1971 Michigan plates on it which read "PMDT37". PMD stands for Pontiac Motor Division. You may have seen the "PMD" on Rally wheel centers. Same thing. Tom works at the GM Tech Center and says he enjoys the Pontiacs on this website. CLICK->
There were plenty of T-37 cars at this show to check out. Here's another view of Tom's Nordic Silver 1971 T-37 hardtop. It was parked near the tent where an evening birthday party was held for the 40th anniversary of the GTO. CLICK->
This silver 1971 T-37 hardtop has a 400ci engine under the hood. In the upper portion of the photo, note the bodyside mouldings. These protected the sides of the car from door dings. Note how the T-37's have a lack of stainless rocker trim. CLICK->
Green 1971 T-37 hardtop. This one has rubber bumper guards. Bumper guards were not ordered very often. The windows have been tinted, and a sunroof has been added. CLICK->
Green 1971 T-37 hardtop, front end view. This one has a hood tach and outside body colored mirrors. CLICK->
Green 1971 T-37 hardtop, left rear view. This one has rubber bumper guards on the rear bumper and a power antenna in the right rear fender. CLICK->
Another view of the rear rubber bumper guards and power antenna on this green 1971 T-37 hardtop. This one has a color matched vintage 1971 Michigan plate. CLICK->
Bronze 1971 T-37 Sport Coupe owned by Dan Jensen. This one has a 455HO engine, automatic, and a 3.55 rear. It's best 1/4 mile has been 12.87 seconds at 106.76 mph. CLICK->
This bronze 1971 T-37 Sport Coupe has a white painted top. It's not vinyl. This two-tone paint option was available most GTO model years. Another 1971 Michigan color matched plate! What's going on here? PICTURE SET CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE ...

Says Sean Pitkin (wpranch.@turbonet.com) - "I'm glad to see there is a goat site without four legs and hair on it."
