Cameo Ivory 1968 GTO hardtop with redline tires mounted on Rally II wheels. This one was not entered in the show. It was parked at the italian restaurant near the host hotel. The owner saw my white '68 parked on the opposite end of the show and we walked back over to this car to have a look. After looking at this white car from the side, I can visualize what my car would look like with redline tires on it.

This GTO has a turquoise blue interior. The owner said he freshened up the interior. He re-sprayed the headliner and everything. Hey, there are stickers on the glove compartment door. Let's get a closer look in the next photo...

This Cameo Ivory 1968 was a Courtesy Car that you could rent for $3.75 a day while your car was being serviced by John Hine Pontiac. Take a look at the sticker in the glove compartment. It is unclear whether THIS car was a courtesy car, or whether the sticker is just an advertisement for the dealer's courtesy car service. Does anyone know about the John Hine Pontiac courtesy cars from San Diego, California?

Cameo Ivory 1968 GTO hardtop, left rear view. The owner just stopped by the show to have a look around. I'm thinking that he could have entered this car in the show and won an award for it.

Cameo Ivory 2004 GTO hardtop, engine view. There is no air conditioning on this car. While mostly original and undisturbed, this '68 car does have a '69 air cleaner on it. It was nice talking to the owner of this car. I wish I had written down his name.

A correctly restored 1969 GTO would not be complete without a vintage bumper sticker. This one has a vintage Nixon/Agnew presidential election bumper sticker.

What would a GTO show be without a whole bunch of mostly Carousel Red 1969 Judges? Goatff71@yahoo.com shot this really cool picture of a line of Popular Vote Judges at the show. That's John Kryta's car with the wheel off. His wheel is always off.

Back in 1969, the band called Paul Revere and the Raiders were seen singing on TV commercials for The Judge. In one line of the TV spot, they sing "The Judge will rule!" This one does. This is the ass end of a Carousel Red 1969 Judge hardtop. This one sounded real healthy.
