Valencia Gold 1973 GTO sport coupe, left rear view. This bodystyle was known as the Collonade style. It has a very pointy rearent design. In the 70's, people would customize their cars by jacking them up in the rear with air shocks or shackles. But when this type of car was jacked up, it looked a little silly. This particular car appears to be stock.

We're peering through the window of this Valencia Gold 1973 GTO sport coupe to get a view of the interior. This one has saddle colored bucket seats and a floor shift automatic with center console. Looks real clean.

Shiny blue 1973 GTO sport coupe, left rear view. This one has a 455 in it? Ben responds to that question, "Yes it is a 455. Since the 2004 nats, 90% of the interior has been replaced, including the dash. All black interior with blue carpet. This spring (2006) the engine compartment will be redetailed with the addition of #16 cylinder heads, new power stering pump, and radiator. Also reproduction factory exhaust extensions will be added, along with other NOS pieces. This car has a two page window sticker with over 40 options. The options cost about $50 more than the base price of this GOAT built in April of 1973."

A black 1973 GTO sport coupe from Michigan. Check out the baby moons. I think this is the same car that won best in show last year in Columbus (2003).

Fernmist Green 1974 GTO. Fermist Green is paint code 40. This one has a white interior. The owners of this car were very nice, and seemed to have a lot of knowledge about this unusually-colored car.

Fernmist Green 1974 GTO, left rear view. The 1974 GTO came as either a hatchback or a notchback. The hatchback featured hinges above the rear window and a large gate that would raise up with the aid of hydraulic cylinders. This is the notchback. It was more like a normal trunklid. I think both versions may have had fold-down rear seats?

Buccaneer Red 1974 GTO with stripes and trim-less Rally II wheels. Chrome trim rings were not used in 1974 on Rally II wheels.

Buccaneer Red 1974 GTO, left rear view. I think there is a tiger stuck in the trunk.

Buccaneer Red 1974 GTO, interior view. This one has white bucket seats, a manual transmission with console, Rally gauges, and the Custom Sport steering wheel. The Rally gauges consisted of the replacing the fuel gauge to the left of the speedometer with a 4500 redline tach. The fuel gauge is moved down to the console along with gauges for the battery, temperature, and oil.

Buccaneer Red 1974 GTO, engine view. Very clean in here. That's called a Shaker air intake, because it shakes when the engine is rev'ed.

Nice looking blue 1974 GTO with a 455 engine under the hood judging from the decal on the shaker hood scoop. The license plate says NO NOVA. Dean says this car has won 3 of 4 GTOAA Nationals (73-74 popular vote). It was also on the cover of High Performance Pontiac magazine in October 2004. Dean is also an avid model builder.

Barbados Blue 2004 GTO with a body kit. The nose is different than stock. It has recessed grilles with gray accents. It has a different center air intake below the grilles, side rocker panels with air vents behind the front wheels, and a modified rear deck lid spoiler. Upon further study, this car has the Autocross bodykit which was first seen on this red Autocross concept car front view and rear view. The Autocross package is listed as an option on the 2005 GTO. Check it out in our Stat Explorer (tm).

Barbados Blue 2004 GTO with a body kit. Here you can see the vents in the rocker molding behind the rear wheels. Hey, this one has split dual exhausts, just like the Autocross concept car. Are they real?
