Fort Wayne All Pontiac show 1998
The show was held June 6, 1998. It was outdoors at Don Ayres Pontiac in
Fort Wayne Indiana. The dealership is just off I-69 exit 111. The hosting
organization is the NorthEast Indiana GTO club (NEIGTO). The 1999 show will
probably be the 1st or 2nd week of June. The service manager for Don Ayres is
in the NEIGTO club. Look for his yellow 1969 GTO convertible. All pictures
are by Sean & Mary Ann Mattingly.

'68 GTO hardtop is blue.
'69 GTO Judge hardtop Midnight Green side view was the star of the show!
'69 GTO Judge hardtop Midnight Green with my wife admiring her reflection
on the very shiny paint. I received this email from Tom Becker
(email@example.com) who says: Sean: That 1969 Midnight Green GTO Judge hardtop be mine.
It took "Peoples Choice" award in the 1999 Don Ayers car show.
Also took 2nd place in it's category at the 1999 Ames Pontiac
Nationals at Norwalk, Ohio. My Goat has a factory 3-speed (Hurst)
with factory installed Ford top loader tranny. It's a bare
bones Judge, virtually no options came with the car which was
purchased in 1969 off the dealer show room floor (Means Pontiac
in Fort Wayne). Frame off restoration in 1991 by the original
'69 GTO convertible green with hideaways.

(I climbed a nearby light pole to get this shot!)
'69 GTO Judge hardtop with Cragars got a lot of attention at the show.

the service manager of Don Ayres Pontiac where this show is held.

'69 GTO hardtop red front was the first car I admired at this show.
'69 GTO hardtop red rear very nice!
'69 GTO Judge parked in front of the dealership is Carousel Red.
This Judge clone is owned by Troy and Mari Hart (email@example.com) from
Decatur, Indiana. Troy says this car is a numbers-matching GTO.

'72 so-called GTO station wagon certainly looks nice with Honeycomb wheels.

If you have some snapshots of the show, email them to me. Or U.S. Mail
them to me. I can return photos after scanning them. Just ask.
Here's a comment from a recent visitor...
Says Jeffrey N. Meyer (Jefflerna.@ucd.net) - "I'm out here in the middle of the Pacific on the Island of Guam. I'm a GTO/Pontiac fan! Ever since my Dad owned a Green '68 GTO when I was young. There are 2 GTO's on this Island of 150 thousand people, I've seen or heard of a black '69 convertible, and heard of a (story) of a '64 stashed away somewhere. So maybe if I get rich someday (hee, hee) or if I go back to the states. I'll certainly buy a '68 or a '69 GTO!"
