(from the 1964 Lot) Yorktown Blue 1964 GTO sport coupe owned by Jeff Lovich from Flagstaff, Arizona. Jeff tells us more, "I bought it in 1978 for $1,200 from an ad in the Washington Post. The car was a super clean foundation and I decided to option it out the way I would have ordered a car new. Options include (among others), Tripower with super rare 64-only mechanical linkage, four speed, console, wood wheel, tilt column, vacuum gauge, tach, rear defroster, padded dash, reverb, four way flashers, spinners, splitters, posi, power antenna, AM/FM from a 65 GTO, power steering, power brakes, underhood lamp, reel out trunk light, and soon to be added, power seat and map light. I drove the car daily back in the 1970s and 80s including using it to get to the woods in deer season back in Virginia! My wife and I had our first date in the car so it has sentimental value to us." Jeff also owns a Grenadier Red 1964 GTO hardtop.
(from the 1964 Lot) Silvermist Gray 1964 GTO sport coupe owned by Christopher Borger from Anchorage, Alaska! Christopher says, "I purchased this summer 2009 from Hawaii. (from the 1964 Lot) Grenadier Red 1964 GTO Sport Coupe owned by Douglas McGrew from Scottsdale, Arizona. Douglas tells us more, "I purchased the car in 1988. Found it in Meade, Kansas on way to the GTO Nationals in Wichita, Kansas at a small Pontiac dealer. The car was sitting in the used car lot next to the main showroom. The car lot was grass. In the back row were two original 64 GTOs. One was the post coupe and the other was a convertible. I did a complete frame off, nut and bolt restoration in the late 1990s. Completed the restoration in 2000. During the 90s, I purchased many NOS parts to be used in the restoration. The car is painted the original Grenadier Red, with the interior completely replaced in the original black. It has a correct date coded 1964 GTO 389 engine, with tri-power, 4-speed close-ratio transmission, and 3.90 posi rearend. The car had many original options, such as wood wheel, console, reverb, remote mirror, power antenna, retractable seat belts, tachometer, Soft-Ray tinted glass, power steering and power brakes. I have added a few options such as tilt wheel and padded dash. Car has won many Best of Show and First Place awards."
