This is Jason MacGillis' Quicksilver 2006 GTO! Nice light reflections in the road. I didn't know there were two center brake lights on these.

Brazen Orange 2006 GTO owned by Paul Vaagenes from Shoreview, Minnesota. Paul had this to share, "I purchased my 2006 GTO Brazen Orange 6/29/06. It has a 4-speed automatic. This is the 2nd GTO I have owned. My previous GTO was a 1966 convertable with 389 and a close-ratio 4-speed. I wish now that I never sold it. Oh well. There is no comparison between 66 GTO versus 2006 GTO. The 06 runs circles over my former 66 GTO - handling, speed and all other areas exept the style"

Nick sends us pictures of his Impulse Blue 2006 GTO. He tells us that he just got it and loves it. The Holden factory has rolled the last '06 off the assembly line. 63% of those were manual transmission cars. 11% were painted Impulse Blue.

A shot of the stock engine under the hood. The Pontiac corporate website gives a good description for this powerplant; "Strap yourself in. You'll feel more like you're piloting a jet than driving a car. Especially since you're behind one of the world's great engines. Winner of numerous awards for engineering excellence, the new LS2 dominates from start to finish. Delivering power across an amazingly flat torque curve, you'll feel it from the moment you step on it all the way to a 6,500 rpm redline."

Torrid Red 2006 GTO owned by Michael Kargenian from Kingman, Arizona. Michael has this to share, "After owning six Camaros, including a 1970 RS, 1978 LT Type, 1984 Z28, 1987 IROC-Z, 1992 RS and a 2000 Z28. The LS1 2000 Z28 was by far the fastest of them all. I regretted selling it, missing owning a musclecar so much over the next 2 years, I couldn't stand it. So.. Enter my 2006 GTO, purchased new in March (2006). I opted for the A4 in Torrid Red with matching leather. The mods started coming within the first week. For good looks and my own personalization, a black autocross upper grille replaced the original piece and all the glass was tinted. 17x8 American Racing Black Rouges really set the car apart and look great. I love driving this car! It gets constant compliments everywhere I go. The GTO is a Mustang GT and import killer, just ask any one of them that gave my goat a try. 3.73 gears, a Patriot Stage 2 head and cam package, 1.8 rocker arms and a 2400 stall converter are planned for this winter (end of 2006)."

Michael describes some of the changes under the hood, "The restrictive factory airbox was tossed for a K&N Filtercharger CAI. A Jet Performance MAF replaced the screened OEM piece and an SLP 160 tstat was put in place to help fight detonation, which is important with the aggressive
Predator Diablo SLP tune. After having the stock throttle body ported and polished, I concentrated on other upgrades. A BMR strut brace, SLP rear sway bar and an Energy Suspensions Master Kit improved handling."
