Joe also added extra gauges to the center of the dash - oil and volts. Hummm - where is the boost? These gauges have the same lettering and color as the stock gauges in front of the driver.

Chris Burch sold his Barbados Blue 2004 GTO and purchased this Brazen Orange 2005 GTO. Chris tells us more, "The differences from the 04 to the 06 are subtle but very noticeable. Going from 17s to 18s I was expecting a rougher ride, but to my surprise it is much smoother. The LS2 is clearly more powerful, but the torque management really holds the power back, even with the M6. All in all I really like the 06. It was worth the trade." Spice Red 2006 GTO owned by Mike Massone from New Boston, New Hampshire. Mike comments, "I have to say this ride rocks... I don't understand why it was not a hit? I understand some of the complaints that it's not retro enough or it's imported or it looks like a big Chevy Cavalier. I say so what! It has what you would want for a modern day muscle car. I do
believe that if you took where the GTO ended production in 1974 with GTO being offered on the Ventura platform or even moreso from 1973 with the LeMans platform and progressed it to today, you would have it looking very much like the Holden Monaro does today - and it's affordable too. That is at today's standards - I paid $31k. Also it would rate right up there with my old SVT Cobra. I think Pontiac will bring it back in a few years? With the Shelby doing a dance around $60k plus from the dealers, I am perfectly satisfied with my choice... For now anyway!"
