Phantom Black 2005 GTO, engine view. This is the all-aluminum 6.0L Gen IV LS2 V8 engine with 400 hp and 400 lb-ft torque. The hood scoops are closed off similar to those of the 68-70 GTOs. They have a plastic piece that bolts from the underside. The plastic piece could be removed and replaced with an open version if it becomes available. The engine however, is still ducted to receive air from the front grille. See that aluminum block with all the tubes coming out of it on the far side of the engine behind the yellow dip stick handle. That is the 4-channel anti-lock brake valve. CLICK->
Here's Tom at the wheel of his Phantom Black 2005 GTO. Site helper, Jeff Klein, took this picture while riding in the back seat. Jeff commented, "Tom had told me he was coming over to show me his new GTO. I heard it coming down the street before seeing it. It sounds good when riding in it too. Tom let me drive it. I found it a bit hard to find all those gears. I didn't do too bad. Except for one downshift when I hit 2nd instead of 4th. The back seat was roomy - even with the two guys in the front being over 6 feet tall. The exhaust sounded real good from the back seat as well." CLICK->
Do you want to hear what the exhaust from a 2005 GTO sounds like? Click Here to launch a video with sound of the exhaust system on Tom's Phantom Black 2005 GTO. It sounds great if your computer system has a sub woofer. This movie requires a media player. CLICK->

Chris from Anaheim Hills Pontiac in Anaheim, California sends us these pictures of a Yellow Jacket 2005 GTO with the Autocross Sport Appearance Package, recessed grilles and spoiler. Chris says that it took him a week to get the paint right. CLICK->
Chris also painted the lower part of the rear bumper yellow. This is usually gray. The 6.0L emblem is missing on the right side of the trunk lid. Chris says they installed a K&N free flow air intake system on this car too. CLICK->

Phantom Black 2005 GTO, left front view. This GTO does not have the recessed grilles or taller spoiler of the Sport Appearance Package. Those 18 inch wheels are nice. CLICK->
Anaheim Hills Pontiac also has this Torrid Red 2005 GTO with the stock 17 inch wheels. This one has the red leather interior. CLICK->
The guys at Anaheim Hills Pontiac really know how to modify a GTO. Take a look at this one. This one has nearly all the items from the Autocross Sport Appearance Package and a moonroof. PICTURE SET CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE ...
