The rest of the body panels are mounted on Doug Miller's 2005 GTO Pro Modified drag car. The body was molded off a 2004 GTO.CLICK-> 
In the next step, a set of 2005 hood scoops are going to be molded in carbon fiber and laid onto the car's hood.CLICK->

Here is the Doug's 2005 Pro Street 2005 GTO halfway through the paint and artwork application at Illusions Paint and Body. The car is sanded, so its appearance is dull in these shots. See the Judge graphics on the side.CLICK-> 
Doug comments, "The Judge character is almost complete except for adding flowing strands of hair. You'll notice the Judge is 'meaner' appearing than in the original artist's rendering." Looks like they have pictures of a 1969 Judge taped to the window for guidance. That picture is from this site! Click here to see it.CLICK-> 
Here is an even closer close-up of the Judge graphics. Doug continues, "Next comes the front-end graphics and GTO badges - also to be airbrushed. In the next step, the car will be clear coated, sanded, and then clearcoated for a three-dimensional appearance. I should have pictures of the finished job in another week. After that the car heads back to St. Louis for final assembly. Probably still about 6 weeks away from completion and pickup."CLICK-> 
The front end graphics have been applied at Illusions Paint and Body. The graphics include similated recessed grilles, fog lights, parking lights, lower air intake, and grilles in the hood scoops.CLICK-> 
The hood scoops are labeled with Ram Air VI. In case you're not up on your roman numerals, that's a "6".CLICK->

Here is the rear end graphics. There will be 10.5 liter engine under the hood. Next the body will be reclearcoated and buffed before return to St. Louis for final assembly. Click here to see a picture of it completed, which is found earlier in the 2005 Parking Lot pages.CLICK-> 
   
Michael Santana's wife bought him this Quicksilver 2005 GTO as a 'Welcome Home from Iraq' present. This was our Picture Of The Week for 5/8/05. Michael comments, "I just got back from a
7-month combat tour in Iraq with the 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines. I'm a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman ('The Doc') with 15 years service. I've dreamed of owning a Goat since I was about 10 years old, and the 2nd day after returning, my AWESOME wife Lucy made my dreams come true! I've got my ESSO Tiger tail hanging by the rear-view mirror and fast drivin' tunes JAMMING on that Blaupunkt! It has been my dream to own a Goat since I was 10 years old.
