Midnight Blue 2005 GTO owned by Ben Romeo from Millville, New Jersey. Ben adds, "I bought my 2005 GTO at the end of September from the same dealer I got my 1966 GTO and 1968 GTOs. I love everything about this car." CLICK->
Ben has since added a set of recessed grilles from the sport appearance package. Ben adds, "I already have 2,500 miles on it and enjoy every minute driving my new GOAT. GRRRRRR" CLICK->
Oh no! There is Yellow Jacket 2005 GTO off to the right that's gonna have some water damage. This shot was taken during Hurricane Katrina (September 2005) at the Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi.
We heard from the owner of this unfortunate car who says: "The GTO you referred to in the picture “this yellow jacket GTO needs a lifejacket” is actually my car. I was TDY with the South Carolina Air National Guard to Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi for training. You could only imagine my horror when I finally (after four days of being sheltered) got out to see the car. It was a total mess, with only 3 windows remaining intact, and a good amount of damage from debris scattered around the car. The car was declared a total loss considering the engine block was completely submerged in saltwater!"

Here's what James' Yellow Jacket 2005 GTO looked like after the water went down. It was caught in 2005's category 5 Hurricane Katrina. Looters have broken out the windows. The storm is estimated to have been responsible for over $81 billion in damage. CLICK->
In this shot you can see the other cars that were underwater in the background. CLICK->
The car was filled with sewage. There are reports that this car was later found on eBay. I really doubt you could get the smell out of the interior. CLICK->
Impulse Blue 2005 GTO owned by Ted Miller from Abingdon, Maryland. Ted tells us about his purchase, "IMPULSE BUY! I saw it and had to have it. Hot machine. I was minding my own business on the way home from the dealer when I came across a Ford Lightning with a young man trying to impress his girl. He made the mistake of testing me and my goat on Interstate 95. Needless to say, in 4th gear in triple digits, he was embarassed. Even more when I hit the last two gears. It has a complete new exhaust from motor back from SLP. I hope soon to find a quality twin screw supercharger to boost it up more." Ted ran against a Ford SVT F-150 Lightning which is a high-performance pickup truck with a supercharged V-8 engine and performance-tuned suspension. This truck has 380 horsepower. It goes from zero to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. Compare that to the GTOs. The Lightning has a 5.4-liter SOHC Triton™ V-8 paired with an Eaton™ supercharger and water-to-air intercooler, providing 380 horsepower at 4,750 rpm and 450 foot-pounds of torque at 3,250 rpm. Midnight Blue 2005 GTO owned by "GTO Geno" from Rahway, New Jersey. Geno had this to say, "This is one fun car to drive. The exhaust sound is awesome and it can be heard from blocks away. This one is already a trophy winner at a local auto show. I'm planning on keeping this stock and keeping the mileage low... although that may be next to impossible! The color is awesome! It changes depending on the time of day from dark blue to medium blue to a purple haze." CLICK->
