John selected the black interior for his Impulse Blue 2004 GTO. The other option is a blue interior. Click here to see some of the blue interiors. CLICK->
Yellow Jacket 2004 GTO owned by "Lady Goat" from Valdosta, Georgia. She tells us, "This is my new toy. I ordered August 12 2003, and it was delivered February 23 2004. It's got 35% 3M window tint that was added February 25. I got inducted into the 1000-mile club March 27. Loving it more each day!" CLICK->

Here's Lady Goat with friend SuperWildCat in Talahassee, Florida. Lady Goat tells us this story, "There is an interesting story behind this picture... It goes something like this: LadyGoat (Georgia) meets Superwildcat (Mass.) on ultimategto.com's 2004 Discussion page. SWC tells LadyGoat about the 'Goodguys' car show in Talahassee so both families make plans to meet up there. SWC flys down for the weekend, LadyGoat drives her new yellowjacket M6. Between cell phone dropouts, pagers that didn't work, and thousands of people, they didn't make contact all day. Ladygoat parks at the fairgrounds exit for and hour and a half hoping it will draw SWC's attention... no luck. SWC assumes Ladygoat had other plans and didn't show up. What are the odds that BOTH of them decide to eat at the same restaurant on the way out of town that night!!! SWC sees a yellow GTO with GA plates in the parking lot of Durango steakhouse and asks the staff to find out who owns the yellow goat in the parking lot... so, the happy ending was: LadyGoat and Superwildcat got to meet after all! The families got together in the parking lot and chatted for about 30 minutes after dinner and headed home. Now, ain't that a nice story?"Click here to see Superwildcat's Phantom Black 2004 GTO. Quicksilver 2004 GTO owned by Gary Onady from Dayton, Ohio. Gary tells us, "My advanced order was the second of three advanced orders placed by my car dealer on June 28th, 2003. After many calls to GM and my dealer, it was clear that by the end of February, 2004, my advance order was lost. My dealer managed to get the third advance order client to wait another month to take delivery on a black GTO the dealer ordered, then took his red GTO, and traded it for the Qucksilver, black interior, 6-speed manual that was identical to the one I originally ordered. So on March 20th, 2004 I became a proud owner of a GTO. I love the car. Take everything positive that was mentioned on your discussion site, and that describes my experience. The linear acceleration and engine/exhaust note brought back the identical feeling to one of my friends of riding in his brother's '67 GTO." CLICK->

Bert Broussard sends us this picture of a Phantom Black 2004 GTO. Bert tells us, "I went to my local Pontiac dealer Saturday to drive the new GTO! I drove my '67 to get some pictures with the '04 GTO and could not resist taking my personal plate off my car and putting it on the new GTO. I thought after the frame off restoration I did on my car the plate fit it to a tee. But now that the '04 GTO came out, it fits that one too! I didn't buy the black '04. I'm waiting for a Red 6-speed." You can just make out Bert's Midnight BLue 1967 GTO off to the left. Click here to see more of Bert's 1967 GTO. CLICK->
Torrid Red 2004 GTO with a 65-67 inspired aftermarket hood. It's owned by Mike Richards from Deerfield Beach, Florida. Mike comments, "This is what the GTO should have looked like. If Pontiac would only have gotten feedback from former GTO owners and they made a hood scoop nostalgic like I did, they would sell more GTOs." Yes, that's right - This hood was Mike's idea! He had is original hood married with a 66 GTO reproduction hood. It takes some guts to try this out on a new car, but it turned out great. Email Mike for more information. Mike's new hood looks pretty good from the side too. He's also put on a different set of rims. Those are 18-inch Zenetti Wheels. Inside, Mike has a black interior and an automatic transmission. CLICK->
Another right front view of Mike's Torrid Red 2004 GTO with his custom hood scoops. Notice anything else different about this hood? Mike moved the washer sprayers to the cowl instead of out on the hood. CLICK->
Yellow Jacket 2004 GTO with prototype hood, hood tach, wheels, and stripes from Dan Long at Arrowhead Performance. The hood scoop is similar to the 65-67 classic GTO design, except with less rounded edges. The hood tach housing will hold any 2 1/16' diameter gauge.
