Torrid Red 2004 GTO owned by Greg Lamartina from Buffalo, New York. Greg adds, "I just bought this car used with 19,000 miles on it. I love it. I wasn't even thinking of buying a GTO, but I saw this one and knew I had to own it. I did some research on it before I bought and I think I really made out ok. The previous owner changed the JBS split rear exhaust and added retro hood. I have since added a LS1 cold air inductor, side decals, and an aluminum skid plate. What's next? I'm not sure but I'm having a blast with it. Not many around Buffalo - maybe 6 or 8 that I've seen, so it gets a lot of attention. I've had two Trans Ams in the past and this GTO smokes them both." Barbados Blue 2004 GTO owned by Daniel and Brittany Giner. Daniel adds, "The wife and I bought this a couple months back at a dealership when we were driving by and saw it just sitting there. We really weren't looking in to getting a new car, but me being the GTO nut that I am, I had to stop by and see it. We test drove it and had to buy it. It came with the 2005 hood and the dealer didn't even know that the 04s didn't come stock with that hood. The guys at the dealer got a little annoyed with me at times because I knew more about this car than they did." CLICK->

Torrid Red 2004 GTO owned by Valerie Huron from San Antonio, Texas. Valerie tells us, "I got this 04 GTO in 08. It only had 30,000 miles on it and it is very clean on the inside. It is a stock V8, LS1 350 hp. Getting ready to upgrade the intake, headers, and cam. Girls can race tooooo!! CLICK->

It has about 35,000 miles on it and is a 6-speed manual. Being built in May of 2004, it came with the preferable 2005 hood. Love the Yellow Jacket paint - really turns heads. And the power is wonderful. I also like the rear fascia treatment for the 2004 better than the 05 and 06 approach. In
essence, I have exactly the color, options and year that I wanted the most. A number of people here in central Ohio claim to have never seen one before, making it an interesting conversation piece . Also, with a daughter who lives in Australia, I have seen its progenitor, racing around the streets over there. Aussies are awfully proud that their creation was bestowed with the GTO moniker. It is funny, however, that the LS1 was made in the US, shipped to Australia and then returned stateside inside the bonnet of a GTO. Oh, and the Aussies did not like the addition of the hood scoops or the dual exhausts out each side. You will note that their Monaros don't have rear wings either. Anyway, that's my GTO story. For now, I'm enjoying the car but sparingly. Premium pump gas is over $4.00 a
gallon now so I am careful about the usage of this unit." CLICK->NEW POST Yellow Jacket 2004 GTO, right side view. There is snow on the ground. CLICK->NEW POST Yellow Jacket 2004 GTO, left rear view. Erik Hutters drew this masterpiece. It later became our Picture Of The Week for 9/22/02. His idea was to base a new car on the 1969 styling. He used the 1969 Judge paint color of Carousel Red. Most impressive here are the hideaway headlights. He also carried through the parking lights of the 1969 car with their rectangular design. The eyebrow side stripes resemble those of the 1970 Judges. He's got low profile tires mounted on wheels that should surely be called Rally III. Erik is based in Sweden and has a personal web site at http://www.pontiac-gto.net .

Says Charles W. Michel (chariemike7.@hotmail.com) - "I am looking for a hobby car to restore although I have never done this before. This is a great site. I just spent about two hours looking at all the great GTO's. My son and I decided to try and restore one."
