Barbados Blue 2004 GTO owned by Bill Vantuono from Brick, New Jersey. Bill tells us more, "My wife surprised me with my 2004 GTO on Christmas Day 2004. I had been shopping around for a new car, test drove this one a few days before Christmas, and came home all excited about it. She pursuaded me to hold off for a while — all with the intent of getting it and surprising me. Needless to say, Christmas morning 2004 was very special! I have just added an SLP cold air induction hood and had the fuel rail covers and a BMR strut tower brace I installed previously painted to match. The only other modification at present is a K&N air filter. I plan to add a gauge pod with oil temperature and voltmeter gauges, and possibly an SLP heavy duty rear stabilizer bar. My GTO is without a doubt the finest, fastest, best-handling, highest-quality car I have ever owned — a real blast to drive! I am active in the GTO Association of America and write for The Legend." Another shot of that SLP hood on Bill's Barbados Blue 2004 GTO. The 2004 GTO doesn't come from the factory with hood scoops. Many people have added them later. Phantom Black 2004 GTO owned by Bob Everett from Dallas, Texas. Bob tells us, "After having my 01 Pontiac GT1 Grand Am totaled from a blue haired elderly lady. She ran a red light 20 seconds late causing me to T-bone her Grand Marquis - I had to go car shopping. The bad news was the loss of my GT1 2-door black coupe with SLP exhaust, high performance plugs and other goodies that pushed the horsepower level over 300bhp. I had the car souped up just as I wanted. Great news is, I was paid over $9,000 for the value and condition of the vehicle. After reviewing many new cars and looking for classic and enticing assorted types used ones, there were just not too many cars that appealed to me like the looks, performance and nostalgia of the newer GTOs. I found my 04 6-speed at a high performance European auto dealership in Addison, Texas. I bought it with 22K on it August 3, 2005. To date it only has 37K on it. I made a great deal on this one and love the living hell out of it! It is amazing at how many people mess with you in these cars either because they have the goods to do so in their car and know what the new model has to bring to the table from the factory; or they are merely a jealous insecure wimp that has to prove something - like how far in last place will I finish if I race this guy? It is the best car I have ever owned and I am close to the point to where I will be adding a few steroids to my black beast to make sure I keep up with all the amazing newer performance sedans and coupes. I enjoy the website and pics and have many on my wall in my home/office." PICTURE SET CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE ...

Says Greg Tuggle (XXtremePlayer.@AOL.COM) - "The G.T.O. is the Holy Grail of car ownership. I've never seen one except at shows, and with any luck, I'll own one before the end of the world."
