Torrid Red 2004 GTO owned by Carl Palmquist from Milford, Ohio. Carl had this story to tell, "I bought it on the way to a racquetball match. I had some extra time, so I stopped to see what they looked like. I bought it that night and was 30 minutes late for my match. I refused to drill any holes for the front license plate, but wanted to stay legal. I mounted the bracket that came with the car by putting in the bottom part of the grille. I then took a 14 inch black zip tie and ran it through the grooved screw hole at the top of the bracket. The zip tie went around a couple of the louvres and back through the hole. Then it was pulled tight and done to the other side. Afterward I just screwed the plate on, using the rubber
spaces at the bottom to avoid any scratches. The total cost was under 50 cents. The plate says L8R MAN" CLICK->
Carl has since installed items from the Sport Appearance Package (SAP). These items can be dealer installed on the 2005 GTO. Carl got them for his Torrid Red 2004 GTO. Carl got the 2005 GTO hood with the hood scoops, the autocross recessed grilles, and the autocross rear decklid spoiler. Under the hood Carl added a Era CAI (Cold Air Induction). This car was selected for the 2008 UltimateGTO.com wall calendar. Carl had this to say, "I am excited to hear that my picture was used for December. The car still looks the same although the front grilles are painted black. It has undergone some major changes. I am now sitting at 609/515 to the rear wheels. It is a blast. I have met many friends because of this car. I am very active in my local chapter www.ovgto.com and try to make as many shows as work allows. As you know the [2007] GTOAA Nationals was in Columbus, Ohio. I took an active part in trying to bridge the gap between Old School and New Era. Its coming along slowly. In 2008 I have been selected to be a tech for the new era cars in Saratoga Springs, NY."
We have this image in two additional sizes; 800-600 wallpaper and 1024-768 wallpaper. CLICK->

Carl also added a set of 18 inch TSW Thruxton wheels with Toyo 245/40/18 tires. He says they don't rub the inner fenders. PICTURE SET CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE ...

Says Eric Patterson - "Absolutely an unbelievable labor of love. The breadth and depth of material is so comprehensive I use your site now for reference instead of my books."
