Impulse Blue 2004 GTO with a blue interior owned by Pedro Martin from San Jose, California. Pedro tells us, "I wanted a GTO since it was first announced. I waited until I was able to get the deal that I wanted. I had to fly into Arizona to pick it up. But it was a great 13 hour drive home. This is the best car I have ever driven/owned." CLICK->

George Barris created this custom GTO Roadster starting with a 2004 GTO. That's George driving it. Site visitor, JoeyD, snapped these shots on 3/13/05 at the 10th Annual Amelia Island Concours d' Elegance held at the Ritz Carlton on Amelia Island, just north of Jacksonville, Florida. The weekend event features road tours, test drives, silent auctions, automotive art exhibits, seminars, dinners, charity golf tournament, gala dinners, fashion shows and more. CLICK->
George Barris' GTO Roadster is a two seater with fold up Lambo style doors and a wild candy orange paint. The car was based on a sketch George made. CLICK->
The concours show featured more than 275 vintage autos. There were dazzling customs and classic automobiles adorning the lush lawns of the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island resort which is just north of Jacksonville, Florida. Here is a close-up of the front end and hood on the George Barris GTO Roadster. It's got pearlized pinstripes. CLICK->
That's quite a crowd around George Barris and his orange GTO Roadster. Nice job George. There was a large crowd on hand enjoying rarely seen, unusual, and historic vehicles. An elegant display along the lush fairway of the Golf Club of Amelia adjacent to the Ritz-Carlton hotel, the Concours is a world-class car event, attracting increasing attendance each year. It cost is $35 to get in. CLICK->
I wonder what size wheels those are. Probably 21 or 22 inch. CLICK->
The engine of George Barris's Roadster looks stock. He painted the plastic fuel rail covers orange. CLICK->
The interior is pretty wild with the orange accents. It's a two seater - that makes it a Roadaster. Not sure what that chrome thing on the center console is - a speaker maybe? PICTURE SET CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE ...

Says Bill G (skyhawk91e.@yahoo.com) - "Your site takes some of the sting out of not having my own GTO. I can look at the other GTO's and dream. Hopefully, I'll own one soon."
