Whoa! What's this! This might be a future cousin to the new Pontiac GTO. These pictures were taken by a site visitor from Melbourne, Australia. The trunk of this Holden Monaro says Lumina SS. You can see the SS to the right of the license plate. The Lumina to the left is a bit harder to read. This is the same model that is modified for the 2004 Pontiac GTO. CLICK->
The front end of this Chevy Lumina SS concept still looks like a 2004 Pontiac GTO. CLICK->
Let's peek inside! There's a Chevy emblem in the center of the steering wheel. It's got the GTO gauges. Looks like there is a bunch of other experimental test equipment in there too. I like the bright red button - is that the Emergency Stop button? CLICK->
Here's a side view of this Chevy Lumina SS concept vehicle found in Melbourne, Australia by the_chef_ko@hotmail.com. See the SS emblem just in front of the rear wheel. No spoiler on this car. CLICK->
Jake Opalenko from Australia sends in pictures of his Targa Tasmania Monaro (GTO). Look a little familiar? This is the same platform as that the state-side sold Pontiac GTO is built from. This one was custom built by The Monaro Performance Centre. They prepare race versions of the cars. It's got 19" x 9.5" Breyton wheels front and rear, Pirelli P-Zero tyres, black chrome badgework, and 'Breyton Silver' accents with handpainted pinstripes. The pwer at rear wheels is 355bhp @ 5600rpm (475hp+ at engine) with torque at 640 Nm @ 2900rpm. Get out your metric conversion tables to figure out the torque.

Look what Jim got himself for Christmas. It's a Torrid Red 2004 GTO. Now I'm mad at myself because I didn't get myself anything that nice for Christmas. CLICK->

Pulse Red 2004 GTO owned by Kevin Blackhurst from Landisville, Pennsylvania. Kevin had this story to share, "From the moment I heard Pontiac was brining back the GTO, I wanted to get one. On 12-30-2004, it came true. I was able to take advantage of the $5500.00 Factory Rebate, a Dealer Discount and my GM Card Earnings to get a GREAT Deal on this Incredible Machine. My Dad had a 1966 Goat and I guess I am just keeping the passion for the GOAT alive for another generation. I am in the process of getting another set of factory rims to have chromed, which will be the only modification I'll make to my 2004 Pulse Red GTO." CLICK->
Going around the orange cones. This is not a construction zone. Byrian is shown racing his Impulse Blue 2004 GTO. He is thinking about trading up for a 2005 model. CLICK->
Impulse Blue 2004 GTO, left front view. I hope Byrian wasn't the one who took out all those cones. CLICK->

Here's a comment from a recent visitor...
Says Michael Santana in the Navy - "I'm being deployed to IRAQ in July and should (Good Lord Willing) have the funds to get a 2005 GTO when I come home. Anyway, thanks to you, the Mrs., your staff, etc. for putting on the GREATEST HOMAGE TO THE FINEST CARS EVER BUILT BY AMERICAN HANDS!"
