Florentine Red 1973 GTO owned by Wayne Klotz from Louisville, Kentucky. Wayne tells us, "My sons and I purchased it July 2008. It went from a "parked on street side daily diver" to a "garaged car". It has had its 400 3-speed stick replaced with a 455 turbo 350. The factory rear was replaced with a Posi. The white factory interior and top was replaced with black. Someone pulled the A/C completely out. Luckily we had a LeMans with air go through at the local pull-a-part and we obtained everything except the freon and the spacer on the front bracket. This is my 3rd GTO. The first was a 1967 red convertible bought 1968 and sold 1972. Second is a 1964 hardtop in garage in pieces. It needs a lot of TLC." CLICK->
Here is a better view of that Florentine Red paint on this 1973 GTO. The wheels are even painted in Florentine Red paint. CLICK->

Paul Sanders spotted this Regatta Blue 1973 GTO Sport Coupe at the Auburn, Indiana Kruse Auction. It's a two owner all original 400
4-speed car that sold new in New Haven, Indiana. The information stated that the car runs. Check out the red GTO in the background. CLICK->
This 1973 LeMans is owned by Brandon Marks from Eldon, Missouri. It was originally Regetta Blue with a white half vinyl top. In this shot, it looks to be parked with no engine in it. Brandon has this story to share, "My dad had this car in the early 90s. He painted it red primer and drove it for a year when heard a knock in the rearend and parked it. He took the motor out of it, sprayed it down gray primer, and gave it away. It sat for 13 yeears. My dad got it back and gave it to me for my first car. I have a pontiac 400 for it bored 30 over. It ran 11s in a Trans Am that it was in. I plan on putting in a Trans Am style shaker hood in it." CLICK->
In this shot it has a red primer hood and shaker hood scoop. Maybe the engine is still in there. CLICK->

Check out this 1973 LeMans being restored by Rich McCallum. Rich says, "This is a project car I bought about a year ago. I've always loved this body style (controversial as it is). When I found it, it wasn't running and needed some TLC. Now it runs good. It's a daily driver, and I am doing a little mild customization on it (removed the front bumper and designed a new one)." Another shot of the front bumper work. Rich moved it inward about as far as he could. It's flush with the nose. PICTURE SET CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE ...
