Here is a duo. Dalton's Blue 1973 Custom Sprint hatchback next to his Dad's red 1967 GTO sport coupe. CLICK->
Here is a line-up of all the Pontiacs in Dalton's family. From left to right a 1986 Trans Am 305, Dalton's 1973 Ventura 455, his Dad's 1967 GTO, a 2004 Bonneville, and a 1966 Star Chief Executive.

This 1973 GTO Sport Coupe could use some work. CLICK->
Rear view of this red 1973 Sport Coupe GTO. There is a big hole in the body just ahead of the rear wheel opening. Many 1973 GTOs have stripes - they all seem to be a little different though. CLICK->
That is the stock 400ci engine under the hood. CLICK->
Here is an Ascot Silver 1973 GTO Sport Coupe that could use some TLC. The silver paint is faded to the point were it looks more purple than silver. The VIN tag looks like:
ST 73 2AF37 A 165871 BDY
TR 556 A51 64 B PNT
02C 165871 340574
Let's decode. The first line: the 73 is for the 1973 model year; 2 is for the manufacturer Pontiac; AF is the Sport Coupe body for the LeMans and GTO; 37 is for the 2-door; A is for the Atlanta, Georgia assembly plant; and 165871 is the sequential body unit number down the line for that plant. The second line: 556 is for the black interior; A51 is for the bucket seats; 64 is the Ascot Silver exterior paint on the lower side (below the roof line); and B is the black vinyl top. The third line contains 02C which is the build date of the second month (Feb) and the 3rd week. The rest of the codes on the third line are for options. CLICK->
The 1973 GTO Sport Coupe body style has the louvers over the rear side quarter glass. CLICK->
A peek inside shows a couple of good options: the floor shift automatic, air conditioning, and a Rally clock. CLICK->
The engine compartment could stand some detailing. Okay... A lot of detailing. CLICK->
This 1973 GTO was sitting on a trailer during Hurricane Katrina and received about two inches of water in it. CLICK->
Another shot of this white 1973 GTO. CLICK->
Rear end view of a white 1973 GTO. It has an interesting hook bolted to the rear bumper near the right tail light. I bet it is for looping a bungee through it to hold the trunk lid down when hauling large items. CLICK->
This red 1973 GTO sport coupe has been parked since 1987. It has a 455 engine under the hood. CLICK->
Junked red 1973 GTO, right front view. This car probably has the factory applied stripes. PICTURE SET CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE ...
