Ascot Silver 1973 GTO sport coupe owned by John Foland from Ravenna, Michigan. John tells us more, "This is an original 30,000 mile GTO. It has a 400 cid engine with a TH400 tranny. The car is a low option model. The beauty rings were the only add on. It has a bench seat and an auto on the 'tree'. I purchased the car from an individual in Connecticut. I left Michigan on Friday night the 2nd of December and arived Saturday around 6 pm. I loaded car up into enclosed trailer
and headed back to Michigan around 10 pm. I came into a snow storm in Pennsylvania when we were on I-84 heading to I-80. We were in a snowstorm all night. I finally arrived back at garage 8 pm Sunday night to unload the car. Once back, the car was repainted the original Ascot Silver as the original paint was dull and scratched around the nose. Installed a 1966 tri power and #16 heads on the original engine. The car had 255-15 tires on the front and 275-15s on the rear. Other than that, the car is original. It is believed that this car spent its time running street races in N.Y. where the car was originally purchased. I have most all documentation on this low mile car. I am the 4th owner." John also owns a 1967 LeMans. Click here to see it using our Advanced Picture Searcher loaded with year=1967, model=LeMans, owner=John Foland.
