Michael recently repurchased this car after owning it 25 years ago. If you want a car like this, I just saw four 1972 GTOs for sale on ebay and two of those are orange. Check them out. CLICK-> That is Jesse Byrd launching his 1972 LeMans hardtop at a local drag strip. Jesse adds, "I bought the car ten years ago. It has had three different motors; an Olds 455, 496 chevy, and a 572 chevy. This car only goes to the drag strip. Its best pass to date is 9.003 at 149mph. Its best 60 foot time is 1.28 seconds. It started as a LeMans Sport but now has a gto fiberglass tilt front end and fiberglass doors, bumpers, and deck lid." Do you like wheel stands? Rob tells us more, "I got the car now almost seven months ago. The Pontiac is fully restored with some nice 18-inch American Racing rims. The motor is a V8 400cui 6.6L, automatic. It has some Edelbrock parts, power steering, and disc brakes, double steel exhaust with Flowmasters."
