Site visitor, Alex, found this originally yellow 1972 GTO in a junk yard. Alex describes the car, "This GTO was sitting in a junk yard near Athens, Georgia for years. The owner had a price tag of $500 for a few years. The car was never sold and eventually ended up in the yard parted out. The rear quarters had "455 HO" printed on them and and I believe this is one of the 300 or so 72 455 HO GTOs. This car had the VIN taken and was rotted to pieces. It also had a bent up Ram Air hood in the weeds next to it. I hate seeing such a rare car out to pasture." CLICK->
Robert Rodriguez owns this Green 1972 LeMans hardtop. Robert tells us how he got it, "I found it under the only tree growing in Queens, New York in 1999. I drove it to Nebraska, did some work on it in my garage - paint, headers, and front fenders. It is otherwise stock. I drove back to New York and then to Fort Myers, Florida and back." CLICK->
