Shadow Gold 1972 GTO hardtop owned by Lloyd Coulson from Bellaire, Texas. Lloyd tells us about his goat, "I bought this WW5 optioned GTO from the original owner's son in May, 2005. The two restored the car together in the mid 90s. For those who are unaware of the 'WW5' option package, it included the 455HO engine, Ram Air system, M22 4-speed or TH400 (mine has the TH400), Safe-T-Track diff, 'Y99' handling package which included 1-1/8" front AND rear sway bars and G60x15 tires, Formula (T/A) steering wheel, P/S, PDB, gauge cluster with tach, body colored sport mirrors, etc. It was a rare deal, as only 290 1972 WW5 GTOs were built. 1972 was the only year the WW5 option was available. The car is also a VERY rare paint color, Shadow Gold. It appears more like a silver-gray color, but under certain lighting conditions one can see a hint of gold in it. No other Shadow Gold WW5 GTO's are known to have been built. In addition to the WW5 option, my car was factory equipped with the Honeycomb wheels, A/C, AM radio, rear speaker, soft ray glass, bucket seats and console, several molding and trim options, etc.
I have been looking for a WW5 optioned 1972 GTO for years, most were raced or rusty. I finally found this one through my good friend Robb Newmann in California. Thanks Robb! The only things I've done to
it since purchasing it are to polish the 10 year old paint, install correct G60x15 tires and a tune-up." CLICK->

Carousel Red 1972 Luxury LeMans hardtop owned by Ozzie from Bloomington, Illinois. Ozzie had this to share, "I had been looking for a LeMans throughout the Midwest like the one I owned in the 70's and found one right in my own hometown. It had 78,000 original miles. I'm its third owner. It has a numbers matching 350 engine with Edelbrock Performer intake & Edelbrock 4-Barrel with Flowmasters. Not much low end with 3.08 gears but TOP END is Awesome! - 150 mph PLUS! I am now looking for a 72 Ram Air Hood?." CLICK->
