Site visitor, Alex, found this originally yellow 1972 GTO in a junk yard. Alex describes the car, "This GTO was sitting in a junk yard near Athens, Georgia for years. The owner had a price tag of $500 for a few years. The car was never sold and eventually ended up in the yard parted out. The rear quarters had "455 HO" printed on them and and I believe this is one of the 300 or so 72 455 HO GTOs. This car had the VIN taken and was rotted to pieces. It also had a bent up Ram Air hood in the weeds next to it. I hate seeing such a rare car out to pasture."

Robert Rodriguez owns this Green 1972 LeMans hardtop. Robert tells us how he got it, "I found it under the only tree growing in Queens, New York in 1999. I drove it to Nebraska, did some work on it in my garage - paint, headers, and front fenders. It is otherwise stock. I drove back to New York and then to Fort Myers, Florida and back."
