Here is an Indiana GTO. It is a 1972 car which was owned by Jeff
Cote for 20 years. He says it is a '72. You may notice that it has '71 grilles, spoiler, and rear valance. CLICK->
Anaconda Gold 1972 Luxury LeMans hardtop courtesy of Adam Woodmancy from Manito, Illinois. Adam is the second owner of this car. Adam tells us more, "The car has 76K original miles and has been upgraded with a 467ci motor, TH-400 with transbrake, a pair of 12 bolts with 3.73 and 4.56 gears, three inch Pypes exhaust with X-pipe, and Dynomax mufflers. The car has won track championship in IHRA superstreet and three other top three finishes in four out of five years. I bought the car six years ago at age 16 for $300 and drove it daily to school, work, etc. People either love it or hate it, but I love it cause it's the only one like it that I've seen in person." This was taken New Years day 2006 when Adam won the Hangover Nationals race at Cordova Dragway Park in Cordova, Illinois. This race takes place (weather permitting) every new years day. I like the name of "Hangover Nationals". Here are some hangover cures...
Activated charcoal tablets, apples, bananas, B-vitamins, chicken soup,
Feverfew, ginger capsules, teaspoonfuls of honey, Kudzu extract, lemon juice in coffee, lime juice, peppermint leaves, persimmon, prickly pear cactus extract, raw cabbage, sauerkraut juice, thyme leaves, tomato juice, vitamin C, and evidently, drag racing.
This is a shot of Adam burning some rubber when it still had its original powertrain. Adam tells us that this was the 1st year it won class points. CLICK->

Here's a comment from a recent visitor...
Says Jeffrey N. Meyer (Jefflerna.@ucd.net) - "I'm out here in the middle of the Pacific on the Island of Guam. I'm a GTO/Pontiac fan! Ever since my Dad owned a Green '68 GTO when I was young. There are 2 GTO's on this Island of 150 thousand people, I've seen or heard of a black '69 convertible, and heard of a (story) of a '64 stashed away somewhere. So maybe if I get rich someday (hee, hee) or if I go back to the states. I'll certainly buy a '68 or a '69 GTO!"
