hvymtlfan@mchsi.com sent in these pictures of his long gone red 1972 LeMans GT. He's looking for another. He bought it in 1985 when he was 19. He sold it two years later when he moved overseas. It came from the factory with a 350ci engine, but the previous owner put in a 1966 389. It still had the factory 3-speed Hurst floor shifted transmssion. The stripes were refective - see the GT written in the stripe on the front. The spoiler is from a 1970/71 Judge. CLICK->

1972 LeMans painted Dupont Hugger Orange. Hugger Orange is the Chevy name for the Carousel Red Pontiac paint color. It's owned by Scott Hershmiller from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. Scott commented, "I bought the car about a year ago, and ended up getting a pretty straight car. It has all new springs, shocks, and bushings. The original motor was changed to a 350 small block with a turbo 350 tranny. It has a 2800 stall, headers, Dynomax exhaust, and a B&M Shift Kit. I am a painter at a Fire Truck Plant so I decided to paint the car myself. It was a lot of work, but I think the Hugger Orange suits the car." CLICK->

Cardinal Red 1972 GTO owned by Tim Rodrigo from Georgia. Tim tells us, "I bought my baby in February 2002 off eBay. It was a LeMans Sport convertible (Endura option). But now it's become a very rare 'one of none' 1972 GTO convertible. It's got a 400 with TH350 transmission, Hurst dual gate shifter, and a completely functional Ram Air system. Future plans include a 455 stroker with Edelbrock heads topped with an aluminum HO intake I picke up off eBay last year, Dougs headers, 3' cross over exhaust from Performace Years, and a 12 bolt with 3.55s. Last fall, I completely rebuilt the front suspension and brakes. I'm currently restoring the interior with new carpet, seat covers, etc. I had a 1981 T-37 back in High School and always regretted letting it go. So I'm keeping this one!" CLICK->

Says Mike Jagusch (mjagusch.@juno.com) - "Awesome. I have on my computer "desktop" a picture that I downloaded from your site a year ago. It's a blue hardtop that was voted Picture of the Week 12/26/99."
