White 1971 LeMans Sport hardtop owned by Bill Bauer. He has added GT-37 hood pins to his steel hood. It's not all that stock, with the addition of a console/floor shift, black interior instead of blue, and the car used to be painted EXACTLY like the blue and white T-37 on the first page. Bill has plans to install a new 462 engine, dynoed at 630 HP, and the hopes for some low 12's at the strip. He's added rear disc brakes onto the Pontiac rear, a dual-diaphragm booster, a big-bore aluminum master from a cop car Caprice, 4 wheel disc proportioning valve, and a line lock. CLICK->
White 1971 LeMans Sport, right rear view. This car appears to be in stock condition, except for the removal of the LeMans emblems and the "PONTIAC" emblem that is normally across the trunk lid. CLICK->
Here's Bill racing his white 1971 LeMans Sport at Palmdale. Bill tells us more, "The 462 is in, along with a TH400 trans, Continental converter, and 3.36:1 gears, 3" exhaust. Performer RPM intake with a Brad Urban 'Stage 1' Q-Jet. Best 1/4 mile time so far has been a 12.38@ 109.27mph. That was 2 weeks after getting the car together and taking it to Pontiac Heaven Drags in Phoenix. That was last year. My home track is 2600 feet up, with air consistently in the 4500+ foot range, so I haven't been able to better it." CLICK->

1971 GTO Judge convertible Orbit Orange right-front view at car show. And if it is a true 1971 Judge convertible, it's quite RARE - they only made 17! I wish I could see more of the engine in this photo. Here are Sean's book recommendations...

Says Peter Stehr (PCS.@kleen-tex.at) - "Keep up the good work...This site contains dreams for some of us that do not own a GTO..."
