Gold 1971 T-37 hardtop owned by Troy Monday from Culpeper, Virginia. Troy tells us, "I just bought it a couple of months ago. The last owner did restoration. It is about 95% complete. Had original 350, changed to a 455. It has 15 inch Honeycomb wheels and looks and runs great. So far, I love this car."

Black 1971 LeMans Sport owned by Rob from Houston, Texas. The GTO hood and Endura front bumper are original to the car. Rob is 17 years old. Rob tells us about his plans, "I have a 1972 Lemans Sport convertible, that I built a motor for and was already restoring. I bought this 71 (actually LeMans sport too, but making a GTO) as a parts car, believe it or not. Due to the condition of the car and the amount of body work I'll have to do on the 1972, I decided I couldn't let my motor just sit around. So I am cleaning up the 71 and dropping the motor in. Well this car will be pretty much a Saturday night special. I plan on setting up a full drag suspension, rollbars, and possibly a 150 shot. I am also going to paint both cars Anaconda Gold so when they are done I can have matching vehicles."

Orbit Orange 1971 T-37 hardtop owned by Derek Osborn from Jonesboro, Arkansas. Derek had this to share, "SHAZAM! Here are pics of my first car, a 71 T-37. My parents bought it for me when I was thirteen. By the time I was sixteen, it was pretty much rebuilt from the ground-up. I drove it to school and work pretty much every day. I took it cruising with the buds on the weekends, and to local shows during the summers. I fell in love with the Orbit Orange paint/stripe combo after seeing 'DAZED AND CONFUSED' numerous times in junior high. I got a call from my Father after he opened the can of paint, telling me it looked like mustard. He wasn't joking! I couldn't be happier with the paint, though. I picked up the replica Judge spoiler and hood tach as Christmas gifts at 16. Cutting the hole in the hood was traumatic for a youngster, haha! My first year in college, I graced the pages of HPP (8-01, I think-need to check) with my T-37 in a young Pontiac owners article. By that time, I was using a newer car for everyday duties. The poncho was downgraded to a fun weather only ride. I haven't driven it as much as I should have, but I've been getting it out more lately."

Blue 1971 GTO hardtop owned by Ken and Teresa from San Ramon, California. Ken tells us more, "My wife had to have it when she saw it for sale about a year ago. She was sold on it when the seller started it up for her and took her for a ride she'll never forget. The car was just slapped together, hot rodded with oversized tires and rims when we bought it. It is 1 of 2,011 4-speeds made for this year. This is the real deal. When I got it home we added the side stripes, 15x8 Cragars with knock-offs, and a wing to go into the original holes to keep with the 70's theme. The motor is a numbers
matching 400 pumped with all the goodies. This car gets up and moves. Soon under the hood is next to restore. The car is a beast. I always get a kick when at a stop light and someone is on a cell phone throwing me dirty looks. The car sounds so obnoxious it gathers a lot of attention wherever we go."
