Keith talked to the driver and found out that these cars are to be used in the USA Network movie called The Last Ride. Looks like Keith pictured two identical Carousel Red 1969 GTO Judges and two 2004 GTOs, one black and one yellow. Charles Stankovich says he provided most of the cars and consulted on the Pacific Classic Car Show scene for The Last Ride “GTO” movie. His company is Film My Ride Picture Cars and the website is www.moviepicturecars.com. They are endorsed by the San Diego Film Commission.
Check out the GTO's to star in TV movie on USA Network article in the 2004 GTO info Collection page. We also have the movie teaser over in our 2004 parking lot. Check it out by clicking here.

CLICK-> 1969jud [an error occurred while processing this directive] You and your classic GTO could have been in the USA Network movie The Last Ride. They were filming at an autoshow at the San Diego Convention Center on March 29th through April 2nd, 2004. This form was used to RSVP a position. The name at the bottom of the form is that of Dan Gearhart. He is the transportation coordinator for the production company called "Stu Segall Productions" at http://www.stusegall.com . Their casting division is called "Background San Diego". They recruit extras for movies and pilots. The flyer indicates that they are looking for "extras" with cars in San Diego. A guy named Mark at the production company said the USA Movie of the Week called "The Last Ride" was formerly known as "GTO". He heard rumors that if it does well in the ratings, they might make it a series!

We've got pictures of this car before the restoration as well as his 1965 GTO. Click here to see them. Mike tells us, "This is a frame off, every nut and bolt resto and it shows. The car has been put back to it exact former glory right down to the Bias ply redlines and the dated spark plug wires. It is a full numbers match car, and it turned out perfect. I'm am very pleased with it. And just a note I did all the work myself, however not the fist car I've done. I do this for a living/hobby."

This car has interesting flat black accents - such as the Royal Bobcat type stripe on the hood. Looks like a pile of snow in the background, which is not too unusual for Canada.
