You and your classic GTO could have been in the USA Network movie The Last Ride. They were filming at an autoshow at the San Diego Convention Center on March 29th through April 2nd, 2004. This form was used to RSVP a position. The name at the bottom of the form is that of Dan Gearhart. He is the transportation coordinator for the production company called "Stu Segall Productions" at http://www.stusegall.com . Their casting division is called "Background San Diego". They recruit extras for movies and pilots. The flyer indicates that they are looking for "extras" with cars in San Diego. A guy named Mark at the production company said the USA Movie of the Week called "The Last Ride" was formerly known as "GTO".
