Here's a movie of Paul's 1969 GTO against that 69 Camaro. It even includes the pre-burnouts and staging. This one requires a Media Player. CLICK->
Here's another great MPEG movie of Paul's 1969 GTO. This time he makes a 12.03 pass at 111mph. This one requires a Media Player to view. CLICK->
Midnight Green 1969 GTO hardtop owned by Stu Jackson from Perry, Michigan. This was our Picture Of The Week for 3/3/02. Stu had this to say, "I just picked this one up a week ago (Nov 2001). She's in great shape. I am the third owner. It was purchased in North Carolina and sold 17 years later to the man I bought it from, here in Perry. Actually, it wasn't
for sale at the time, but we managed to work out the deal. As you can see, the former owner has taken very good care of the car. All the info I have on the car is that the engine has around 7k after the rebuild. All stock with the exception of an HO cam. It sounds sweet. It is a (close ratio) four speed and am told a 3.90 rear end." CLICK->

Midnight Green 1969 GTO hardtop, driver's side interior view. You can see two knobs on the strange air conditioning vent setup under the dash. It must be an early aftermarket install. The dash is a non-air one, since you cannot see four air control sliders and the vent over it is missing. CLICK->

I call this photo "Dammit Day". It's one of the ways to stay dry while being "rained out" at a car show. That's a 1969 GTO next to me. This was our Picture Of The Week for 12/15/02. CLICK->
1969 GTO hardtop owned by Charlie Johnson from Jacksonville, Florida. This car is painted a 2000 shade of Prowler Pearl Orange. It glows
in bright sunlight and gets a darker at night, almost burgundy in
color. This was our Picture Of the Week for 3/2/03. Charlie commented, "I got this one in 1995. It was gift from my wife. A real beast needing lots of work! Practically a new car inside and out. It's got: new American Racing S200 rims and BF Goodrich rubber, new dash from Just Dashes, new headliner, carpet, seat covers, and door panels, a rebuilt TH400 transmission, 4 core radiator, new front disk brakes and rear drums, new 2 1/2 inch exhaust, AM/FM under dash CD radio w/four speakers (ROCK and ROLL!), 1970 GTO decals, windshield (no fender) antenna, and re-chromed bumper and tail light bezels. There is probably more but it hurts to remember all the work! Now I think about the FUN! She has the original 400 with a 650 Q-jet and will smoke the rear tires (3:55 gears)." CLICK->

Here's a comment from a recent visitor...
Says Christopher Yogeswaren (nin4life2000.@yahoo.com) - "I came to the website knowing little to verrry little about Tempests and GTO's and left being able to tell the difference between Ram Air III and Ram Air IV. ;]"
