1969 GTO hardtop owned by Charlie Johnson from Jacksonville, Florida. This car is painted a 2000 shade of Prowler Pearl Orange. It glows
in bright sunlight and gets a darker at night, almost burgundy in
color. This was our Picture Of the Week for 3/2/03. Charlie commented, "I got this one in 1995. It was gift from my wife. A real beast needing lots of work! Practically a new car inside and out. It's got: new American Racing S200 rims and BF Goodrich rubber, new dash from Just Dashes, new headliner, carpet, seat covers, and door panels, a rebuilt TH400 transmission, 4 core radiator, new front disk brakes and rear drums, new 2 1/2 inch exhaust, AM/FM under dash CD radio w/four speakers (ROCK and ROLL!), 1970 GTO decals, windshield (no fender) antenna, and re-chromed bumper and tail light bezels. There is probably more but it hurts to remember all the work! Now I think about the FUN! She has the original 400 with a 650 Q-jet and will smoke the rear tires (3:55 gears)."CLICK->
