Black 1969 LeMans hardtop owned by Jocke Olsson from Sweden. Jocke adds, "This 1969 LeMans has a factory installed tin sunroof. Pretty rare I'd
say." CLICK->
This Verdoro Green 1969 GTO hardtop has a green vinyl top. It is owned by Tom Stukel from Palm City, Florida. Tom says, "I found it on-line a year and a half ago. It's unusual in that it is the only one I have seen with a green vinyl top." CLICK->NEW POST Antique Gold 1969 GTO hardtop owned by Joseph James from Burnt Hills, New York. Joseph tells us, "We bought the car new from Knowles Pontiac, Troy, New York in February 1969. It was our daily driver for seven years when I sold it for $1,000. In 1988, I was offered the same car back for $5,500. I performed a frame-off restoration in 1996. Won Concours d'Elegence at the POCI Convention in '98, and has won Concourse Gold at the GTOAA Nationals in '99 & '08. Also many at the GTOAA Regionals. It was featured in Hemmings Muscle Machines in October '06. It has been in three calendars and included in 'Standard Catalog of GTO' by John Gunnell." The front parking lights look white when off, but shine yellow when on (from yellow bulbs). CLICK->NEW POST Cornering lamps were an option in 1969. They are mounted on the front fenders and come on (steady) when the turn-signals are on. CLICK->NEW POST The air cleaner has been removed so that you can see how great the engine looks! This one has the optional under hood lamp. The switch for it is just to the right of the lamp on the firewall. CLICK->NEW POST The interior is gold. The seats, dash, carpet - even the floor mats are gold in color. It has the owner's manual bag attached the lighter and the starting instructions sheet attached to the ignition switch. CLICK->NEW POST Matador Red 1969 GTO hardtop owned by Ben Shong from Canada. It has a black vinyl top and a parchment interior. Awesome looking car. CLICK->NEW POST Matador Red 1969 GTO hardtop front end view. CLICK->NEW POST Nice looking hardtop. It's called a hardtop - because there is no permanent pillar between the front door window and the rear side quarter window. The top has extra re-inforcement. Cool thing is that the door and quarter glass can be rolled down creating one large opening. CLICK->NEW POST Matador Red 1969 GTO hardtop, rear end view. CLICK->NEW POST Red 1969 GTO hardtop owned by Dave Brown from Salem, Oregon. Dave says, "I got this YS '69 GTO towards the end of August 2010. Rumor has it that its XX engine was dealer installed at the buyers request for better driveability. The interior has been 90% restored. It has a recent paint job and runs great. It came with Rally wheels which I saved and replaced with slotted mags. I am considering building a YS engine for it but I may just slap some 16 heads on the XX and call it good."
