Here is a line art drawing of a 1969 GTO. I like to take these and color them in with a painting program. This is useful if you're trying to decide what color looks good on your actual car. By the way, there are drawings just like this already colored in on this web site. You'll see every paint color for 1968 and 1969 complete with paint chips for comparison. Just see the menu at the bottom of the page. CLICK->
This 1969 GTO is Maui Blue Metallic. The photo was mailed in by Bryan Shafer. He's from Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. CLICK->
1969 GTO in Liberty Blue. Notice the hideaway headlight option. It has a missing section of the grille. Either this is an Australian right-hand drive car, or the photo has been reversed. That would explain the hood tach which is mounted on the right side! CLICK->
Jim's 1969 GTO. He says he also has a 1967 GTO. If you want to see a bunch of 1967 GTOs, see the "1967 Lot" link at the bottom of the page. It is a collection of GTO photo bookmarks organized by year. CLICK->
1969 GTO at the track. This GTO is owned by Gary Howell from Indiana. Here it is pictured at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He bought it in 1982 and restored it to be similar to a Judge he bought new in 1969. He had to sell the Judge in 1971 due to high insurance costs. This Liberty Blue GTO has a Ram Air IV package which Gary put in with all N.O.S. parts. Even the lug nuts are N.O.S. parts! This car has the Muncie 4-speed manual, with limited-slip 3:55 gear. Gary says "Boy does it pull in 3rd gear!" There are lots of new parts in the dark blue interior. Gary says his car is not for sale. CLICK->
1969 Tempest is red. This one has a For Sale sign in the window. CLICK->
John Hugentober's 1969 GTO from his stable of Pontiacs. John helped me with the 1969 paint chips. If you want to see all the colors the 1969 GTOs were, click the "Paint Colors" link on the menu at the bottom of this page. John is the President of the Ohio Valley GTO Association. If you want to join, give them a ring at (513) 932-GTOS CLICK->
Here's Mitch with his Raspberry Pearl Metallic 1969 GTO. It was originally white. It took him a couple years to restore this car. The Ram Air III engine is dressed up with Moroso tall valve covers and air cleaner, Torker intake with 1" spacer, Jet Hot coated headers, braided hoses, and the engine block is painted body color. It sucks down the gas via a Holley 750 C.F.M. double pumper. The transmission is an M-22. The gears are 3.90. Working on engines too? Here are Sean's book recommendations...

Here's a comment from a recent visitor...
Says webruler.@lvcm.com - "I'm an old MOPAR mania guy, but I saw a program on the History Channel that covered the GTO's. Mainly 1964, and I just fell in love with the cars ! I will be visiting at least once a week while I search for one to call my own !"
