Palladium Silver 1969 GTO hardtop owned by John Perry from Tampa, Florida. John shares this story, "This 69 GTO has 89k original miles on its YS engine and TH400 transmission. I found this on Autabuy.com in October of 2005. After lengthy discussions with the prior owner and many pictures emailed, I proceeded to purchase it sight unseen. Luckily, I was not disappointed. After a complete inspection, the only issues were a tired front suspension and poor braking. For most of 2006 I have had the engine pulled while sand blasting, bead blasting, detailing and painting. The front suspension was rebuilt with new offset control arm shafts, new rubber bushings, shocks, and swaybar end links. Also she now has a complete new brake system with exact repro items from Ames and Inline Tube. Now the car drives as well as it looks." CLICK->

Here is Wayne Blackburn back in 1980 with his very first car - a Verdoro Green 1969 GTO hardtop. He is looking for it again. Wayne tells us more, "I would like to hopefully buy it back. Here's how it was built: Verdoro green (not Midnight Green - some pictures are dark) on green buckets, console, 400ci/350hp, M-20 4-speed, factory air, but NO power steering, power brakes or power locks from factory. I am not sure on the gauges. I last saw it in Florida, Port Richey area, in 1982 and lost track of it then. I was told it was painted white around 1982. I don't have, and can NOT get the VIN as I tried everything. I added a '69 AM-FM and 8-track to it. I also painted grilles black. There is a generous finders fee for info leading to or top dollar for right car. Please check your PHS..... Thanks. I really would love to have it back. It was probably originally sold at Crown Pontiac or Wes Harris Pontiac." CLICK->

Jeff McFadden just purchased this red 1969 LeMans hardtop (March 2007). Looks like he has already started the restoration process. Jeff comments, "It belonged to an elderly lady. She sold it to someone who wanted it for his daughter. The daughter never drove it and it sat for a couple of years. It needs help but I am in it for the long haul. It's a shame that good old cars like these are being left to rust away. I'm going to repaint it and redo the interior." CLICK->

Blown 1969 GTO hardtop owned by Timo Kokkonen from Stockholm, Sweden. Timo tells us more, "This car sold new in Sweden 1969. It is now equipped with a Dyer supercharged 400ci, M-40 (A-1), 10-bolt for the street. With 600 hp the ten bolt rear has plenty to handle if the tyres get sticky. With the old '69 400ci (#62 heads), M-40 and 4.33:1 gears it went 13.45 seconds. The supercharged 400ci engine is designed by Lennart Pettersson with most parts from JBP. It is built by Värmdö Motorteknik and dynoed by Jari Konola in Stockholm. He is a Mopar Pro Stock engine builder/driver and 'The Mechanic of The Year' in Sweden (all motorsports included) a few years ago. Also - special thanks to: Lennart Pettersson, Jimmy Klavoniemi and Pasi Seppänen." CLICK->

Says Chris (bum101_1.@juno.com) - "The Ultimate GTO website really is the ultimate GTO website. I have never found a GTO website that offered so much. "
