Jack McMone bought this tiger at an auction. Jack has a question, "The auctioneer swore it was a GTO tiger from 1964. It is very heavy. Does anyone know anything about it? I've had a few GTOs. The first one was a 1968. The other was a 1965 GTO clone. Now I have a 1969 400 4-speed."

Verdoro Green 1969 GTO hardtop owned by Joe Schneider from Lincoln, Nebraska. Joe describes his car, "This car was purchased and restored in Nebraska in 2003. I drive it to and from work on a regular basis provided the weather is good. This GTO has some cool options like a Rally Gauge package and a hood tachometer. It turns a lot of heads around here. In August of every year I drive it to Gretna for the annual Pontiac/GMC/Oakland Show there. It's not perfect, but it is mine!"

Vintage picture of a 1969 GTO owned by Mike Wood. Mike tells us more, "I noticed your poll about "What age should you give the keys to your kid." My Dad gave me this 69 when he headed off to Vietnam in 1970. The photo was taken in 1969. I spent my senior year in High School racing Chargers, Road Runners, Superbees, SS396s, Dusters, and anything else with four wheels."

This is a Ram Air V Red 1969 GTO hardtop. The picture was taken at a little car show in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Look at the front plate, "RA5". You don't see these every day.

Here is a close-up of this Ram Air V engine. It would have been nice to get a close-up photo of that Ram Air 5 sticker on the valve cover.

Limelight Green 1969 GTO hardtop owned by Fred Nicholson from San Diego, California. Fred tells us more, "I bought the car on eBay in June 2003. It looked good at the time but had a lot of problems. I spent the last two years improving the car. I did a top to bottom rebuild of the original numbers matching engine, rebuilt the automatic transmission myself (first one, and it works!). Now, the car is solid. Just about everything is new - steering box, brake booster, front end, driveshaft, etc. She's running!"
