Here's another abandoned 1969 GTO sent in by Dave from Nova Scotia, Canada. Dave added, "This GTO has a 400, 4 speed with console,
hideaways, hood tach, PS, PDB and of course rust. This car has been
sitting for years waiting for the owner to fix it up. I've tried to buy it but now there is nothing that you can bolt anything to. Frame and all body panels are shot. Its almost up to the trunk in dirt and weeds. What a shame."

Starlight Black 1969 GTO hardtop owned by Jeff King from Connecticut. Jeff added, "I've had the goat 13 years. It's got a Ram Air 4, 4-speed, 4.33 gears, and is Royal Bobcat tuned. I'm the second owner. The first owner raced her till 1980 - I have timeslips, classwinner decals, etc. The best runs she made were 12.9s on slicks. The goat was parked in 1980 after a transmission explosion. From there she sat till 1989 when I found her. It was in ruff shape and it took me six years to restore. Now she looks and runs like 1969 all over again."

Limelight Green 1969 GTO hardtop owned by Bob Pearl from Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Bob had this to say, "I just got this a few months ago from California. It had two previous owners, all the documentation, all original paint, 400ci /350hp YS engine, TH 400 transmission, factory A/C, buckets, console, Rally IIs, 3.23 rear end, PHS Documentation, and the original license plate frame. I'm having the engine bay detailed and the car painted again with a #1 job soon. Wherever I go I get the 'thumbs up'".

It exploded into theaters April 16, 2004 with an all-star cast led by Thomas Jane in the title role, accompanied by John Travolta and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos. And now for the best part! This 1969 GTO hardtop is also in the movie! It is an action adventure flick. There was also a Punisher movie from 1991. It starred Dolph Lundgren. That version is available on DVD.

THE PUNISHER GTO has a no nonsense interior. Not much in here but a few gauges, a driver's seat and a floor shifter. It's also got a simplified interior ventilation system - a fan!
Synopsis of the movie: The Punisher is based on the popular Marvel comic series of the same name. The Punisher tells the story of FBI undercover agent, Frank Castle, who until now has beat considerable odds. A former Special Forces operative, he is finally moving out of the field and into a desk job – and a normal life with his wife and son. Then Castle’s world is shaken to its core by a nightmare he has longed feared: his family is executed as a repercussion from his final undercover assignment. With unparalleled intensity, ferocious intelligence and fearless actions, Castle seeks to punish the murderers – and finds the one thing he least expected: redemption. The film was produced by Marvel’s Avi Arad (Spider-Man, X-Men, Daredevil, The Hulk) and producer Gale Anne Hurd (The Hulk, Aliens, The Terminator).
