This 1969 GTO has been sitting in Dave's backyard for the past 15 years. He got it for putting up a deck for a guy. CLICK->
Take a look at the underside of the hood on the 1969 GTO sitting in Dave's backyard. Looks like it was once a Ram Air car - or at least the hood came from one. CLICK->

Here's an interesting red 1969 Custom S which was found for sale on the internet. The description says that it is restored to look like a GTO which in this case means a painted front bumper, a GTO emblem a bit high on the fender, and some funky hood scoops welded on the hood. The description also says that it was just painted Candy Apple Red (which looks like plain red to me) with a green interior. They must mean Apple because the car is green inside. Other stated options are automatic transmission, 350 engine, air conditioning, power steering, AM/FM radio, cassette, and bench seats.

Here's a 1969 GTO which was probably made from 1968 pillar/post LeMans. It's owned by John F (JGtoforfun@aol.com). John has this to say about his unique car, "Someone went to a lot of trouble to do this. It has a 1969 400 out of a GP, front end, dash, interior and trunk from a 1969 GTO. It also has 4 speed and posi rear end. But the price was very right when I bought it 8 years ago and it rides runs and looks good. Also notice the vent windows and chome post and molding around the windows. Don't have the body vin handy, but from what I remember it was for a LeMans. The car is titled a 1969 GTO because of VIN located on the installed dash."

Says Jonathan Martel - "Very good work on the site, the best I've seen so far. I'm new to the muscle car scene and liked the GTO right away and your site is helping me fuel my passion."
