Flambeau Burgundy 1968 GTO convertible owned by Jim Lammers from Findlay, Ohio. Jim had this to say, "This GTO was originally ordered out of Ft. Meyers, Florida. The original owner ordered himself a loaded musclecar by equipping it with the following options; 400/350hp, dual gate auto, A/C, power windows, power steering, power disc brakes, power antenna, tilt wheel, Soft Ray glass, visor mirror, door edge guards, hideaways, space saver spare, clock, safeguard speedo, and deluxe wire wheel covers. This car was built to cruise and that is exactly what I do with it. This is no trailer queen, but a nicely restored vehicle that sees about 2,000 miles/year."

Flambeau Burgundy 1968 GTO convertible, interior view. Notice how a parchment interior isn't really all white. Usually only the seats, door panels, and headliner (if a hardtop) are colored white. The rest is black.

NEW POST This Endura Delete 1968 GTO convertible is painted Impulse blue. Impulse blue is a 04-06 GTO color. This car is owned by Craig and Annette Wallace from Australia! Craig adds, "Lucky me I did not know anything about GTO's and ended up with a matching number Endura Delete car. She took five years to restore and still collecting."

NEW POST There are Impulse Blue accents under the hood too.

NEW POST Here are some older photos of Craig and Annette Wallace's 1968 GTO convertible. It took Craig three three years to get to this stage. Craig adds, "She was sitting under a house for ten years. She was cleaned the week before I purchased her. Little bit of rust found in the normal spots but overall a great buy in Australia. A real life GTO convertible. PHS has her ZONE 40. That means she was sent straight to Australia." Maybe this was a factory right hand drive conversion?

NEW POST Looks like Craig was going with a candy apple red paint and pink engine at first. Check out the right hand steer components.

NEW POST Red 1968 GTO convertible owned by Don and Kate Falduto from Homer Glen, Illinois. Don adds, "We purchased it in February 09. I was looking for a burgundy one to match our 67, but when we saw the red we just fell in
love with it. Super car."
