White 1968 LeMans convertible owned by Sam from San Jose, California. Sam tells us, "I bought the car when I was 15 (about two years ago). I didn't do much work to it initially because my knowledge about cars was minimal, and I didn't have my license. The first thing I did was have it painted. I got ripped off, but that's a whole different story. Since getting the car painted, I have put in all new suspension (Hotchkis/Eibach), a new 2004R transmission, 3.90 Richmond gears, new sound system, and a 400ci engine that has been tested to have 480 horse. I did all of the work myself with the help of a good friend - including building the engine, installing the suspension, trans, etc." CLICK->

Verdoro Green 1968 GTO convertible owned by Steve Watts from Australia. Look at that wide license plate. Steve tells more, "I saw my first GTO when I was 10 and always wanted one. I got to a stage in my life when it was a case of 'the hell with it, lets get one.' The wife was 100% for it." CLICK->
Enjoy the scenic view. The top is up. This car has the normal left hand drive. Some of the Australian GTOs on this site have been converted to right hand drive. Steve tells about how he got the car, "According to the PHS docs, the car was originally sold in Long Beach. I saw it on the net (not ebay) and flew over to Denver in February this year to check it over. I arranged to get it shipped and then went skiing in Breckenridge for a few days - don't we all? Then I drove back to LA via the very picturesque Southwest. It was a great way to spend a couple of weeks." CLICK->

White 1968 GTO convertible owned by Dan from Florida. That is a truck bed liner on top the car. It is protecting the interior from holes in the convertible top. Dan tells us, "I bought it in Connecticut in 1884 for $800. I only put 5,000 miles on it until it was parked awaiting restoration. It has a 400 4-bbl, 4-speed with 105,000 miles. It sure looks like it has been sitting 124 years! The trunk, back & front bumper were off a Lemans parts car. Somehow, hidden headlight covers off a 69 GTO were on the Endura bumper."
