Don Salisbury. Don explains, "I just recently found a 1968 convertible tucked away in a barn here locally. If I live long enough, my plans are to go through this car as I just did with my 64. At this point the 68 we just purchased seems to be a correct car except for headers. After sitting for 12 plus years we started it and drove it up and down the driveway and the brakes still stopped the car. It's amazing because if you saw the place it came out of you would never had expected it. I sure didn't, but am very happy with what I purchased. The hideaways even work." CLICK->

Cameo Ivory 1968 GTO convertible owned by Perry C. Andrew from Rosenberg, Texas. Perry tells us this story, "I bought car in October 2000. It is a numbers matching unmolested PHS documented GTO. I had the rear bumper rechromed and replaced the tail light lenses and park lamp lenses. I also restored the complete interior,
detailed engine compartment and trunk, and repainted the wheels. I enjoy taking it to local car shows and cruises. It was a one owner vehicle built in Fremont, California and bought on 3/5/1968 at Dan Day Pontiac-GMC in Palo Alto California. A couple months after purchasing the car the owner relocated to his native state of Hawaii, taking the car with him and keeping it until he passed away. His widow kept it stored another five years before she could deal with selling it." PICTURE SET CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE ...
