Yellow 1968 Tempest convertible. Bill sent us updated pictures of his car. Here is what Bill had to say, "... Since then I have equipped it with a set of Rallye II's that I completely re-did. Fitted the car with factory correct dual exhaust and started detailing the engine compartment. The car is a true Survivor. According to PHS there were only 3509 made. I have had other Tempest Custom owners contact me after seeing my car on your site, there is quite a following for these models."CLICK->

Here is a picture of a 1968 GTO convertible owned by Mike Louttit (mlouttit@adelphia.net) from Pittsburgh, PA. It is a 400 4 speed with 96,000 miles.CLICK-> 
Don Hansen (DonHansen@gtoproject.freeserve.co.uk) has this 1968 Pontiac GTO convertible project. He's in England, working on this car. (I wonder if they have NAPA auto parts stores there?) He found this car in England. Don sent away to Pontiac Historic Services and they said that the car is a H.O. car. It has PS, PB, PW, tilt wheel, power seats, rally gauges, power top, turbo 400 tranny and a Safe-T-Track rear. Most of the car was there except the original engine. He's got a '71 400 block, a 455 cut-down crank, Eagle rods, Ross pistons, solid lift cam, Torker intake, 850 Holley carb. The heads are 6X with professional port job. This car is now Electric Yellow with a black interior. Don hopes for low 12's at the strip.CLICK->
