Can you tell what is different about Les Schwenk’s 1965 GTO drag car? See anything strange about his Bergundy Baron? Les's 1965 GTO drag car was seen at the Gateway International Raceway during the 2005 GTOAA International Convention. He's not the only person to have made a backwards-driving car. Looks normal to me. I see nothing unusual about the car at all. Looks just like the stock burgundy hardtop I bought new in 1965. Of course I'm senile now and can't remember my own name.
GTOnly70:
Why?
Nibarger:
I saw this car at the GTOAA Nats one time. It was slowly driving around the parking lot. People were following it to get a better look. It is cool. He's done the impossible with this car, just for fun. Makes people stare. He drags it too.

If I pulled up next to this at stoplight I wouldn't know which way to go!
bling is dead:
Some people have too much time on their hands.
Killroy's owner in N.M.:
This is just freaky.
Janet Scott, WHS Class '60:
I had a red and white '68 GTO convertible that I just loved and was probably inspired by the Beach Boys' GTO song to purchase it. It was great, but too much horsepower for me and I totaled it; luckly no one was hurt.
