Take a look at this 1973 LeMans Sport Coupe with 21K original miles owned by Jim Ryan from Bradford, Massachusetts. It was our Picture Of The Week for 6/7/09. Jim tells us more, "I found this car in some one's driveway while driving through Boxford, Massachusetts. I could not see a 'for sale' sign and it was raining buckets. Something made me turn and go back. There was a 'for sale' sign on the floor! It was from an estate sale and the car got hung up in probate for nine years. It still has the 1989 Seneca, New York inspection sticker. It belonged to the seller's godmother who had bought it brand new and had died in her seventies. She had the rust addressed and painted once. They didn't put the wheel well chrome back on. I had the paint hand rubbed, changed the gas tank, brakes, lines and master cylinder, and flushed the transmission. It had the original Nylon Ply tires. I put some taller tires on some Cragers and installed some air shocks in the back. It has factory AC, not a broken stitch in the seats and the original Pontiac floor mats were on the floor. I haven't changed much else, even left the St Christopher and St Jude statues on the dash. I would like to get the wheel well trim back on and I think the plastic horizontal body moulding is after market. What do you think."

Greg Carter: Chalk another one up for the 73's. Jim, I am only asking, how come you have the regular side mirrors an not the rally ones? The car looks very nice by the way. (edited)
johnny rock: The mirror on this Lemans looks the same as the one on my 73 Grand Am. My guess, that's what it came with from the factory, rally mirrors were optional. (edited)
mohawk225: Nice73.. looks a little better than my 73. wayne
