Black 1971 GTO hardtop owned by Andre Rayman from Hobe Sound, Florida. This was our Picture Of The Week for 1-27-08. Andre's GTO is featured on our 2008 GTO Calendar. Have you purchased yours yet? Check out our homepage to purchase one. Andre had this story to share, "I have known about this 71 GTO since 1993. It was owned by a fellow in our local GTO club. One day we were at the track for a club event, and he made the first pass of his life down the dragstrip to a 13.51 ET. It surprised everyone. He sold the car to another club member who had it for a few years, and then to another club member in 1997. That guy only drove the car 200 miles in 10 years. I had contacted him on whim to see if he was interested in selling, and since he was planning a move, and didn't want to take the car with him. I made the deal. It is a great running car. It has disc brakes, tilt column, AM/FM radio, Rally gauges, Sport wheel, power seat, a/c, power steering, and Sport mirrors. It had 15-inch Rally II wheels on it, but I swapped them over to 14-inch Rally II wheels, which gives the car a better stance."
