This is Juan Asano Jr's vision of what the 1973 Judge option might look like if Pontiac had the option for the 1973 GTO. This was our Picture Of The Week for 9/9/07. This concept has it all: Carousel Red paint, Judge colored stripes, a rear deck lid spoiler, hood tach, and even a shaker hood scoop on top of an SD455 engine. It reminds me of the orange Can Am that I used to see in Gas City Indiana. Little did I know at the time it was like 1-of-16 made in orange. It was a rare car.

1969 Canadian Judge:

Someone had a 73 LeMans up here in Canada with a 70 like spoiler on it many years ago. It was way too low to be pleasing to the eye. Concept is excellent otherwise. GM should give Juan a call.

Who the hell picks the 'Picture of the week'? This must the third or fourth time that I have seen an artwork picture as 'Picture of the week'. There are many nice cars on your website (mine included) that should be put up as 'Picture of the week'. I do believe that a lot of work goes into the artwork, but nowhere near the amount of hard work and money that goes into owning and maintaining a REAL car. It is kind of an insult to pick an artwork picture and show all the owners of these fine autos that their car doesn't stand a chance. Please no more artwork for 'Picture of the week', until all the other owners have had a showing as 'Picture of the week'. Maybe you could set up a different area within this wonderful website to showcase these fabulous drawings. JUST A THOUGHT.

It's frustrating that those bean counters in Pontiac's front office killed the Judge just ONE MONTH into 1971!

My name is Rex Carpenter and I have had a 73 GTO with the 70-71 rear spoiler on the rear and a hood tach for about 25+ years. It has been at the GTOAA show several times and it also took 2nd place in 1987 & 1988 in the class. I think maybe his idea came from my car as It has been in several mag's and a few articles.
