I drove it through college, moves, etc. Then it sat for 10 years in my folk's barn. It was just fully restored summer 2004. Thanks to the crew at Fishkill Tire and Brian for painting it."

TheMan'sMans: Holy! She's beautiful! And a LeMans! Amazing paint job! Chromy non-bling rims! Soft and comfy looking interior, angelic... ahhh... She looks like a glistening emerald, only more valuable. Sir, may I please take your daughter's hand in loving matrimony? Er at least taker for a Saturday night spin?
sillyspoof77: I like how you kept it a LeMans and didn't convert it into a GTO. With good looks like that someone else would have cloned it. Even the LeMans has feelings and LeMans people should have LeMans pride.
Captain Sam: Are you married? OOps, sorry I am - just a momentary lapse in memory cause once upon a time I had a '71 Lemans Sport I converted from "mist (a.k.a. puke) green" to luscious burgundy. Goats are great, but SO obvious! I'll take a Lemans Sport with all the performance of a GTO anyday. Lovely to see there may still be hope for me to find another after the kids are gone. Guard your treasure, she's a beauty. Great site, have to dig up my pictures and post someday. Ciao from Italy (for now) ;-)
