GTO Jeff: | | These things are all over the roads here in Germany. Here they are the Opel Kadet. |
Joseph: | | This car is also known as the Vauxhall Astra II in the UK, a car I have been involved with a lot during my life so far. It qualifies as a classic on nostalgic grounds! |
mang01: | | Of course it is really a Daewoo built car, based on the GM Europe design and with Holden engines. Interestingly it was apparently sold as a Pontiac Lemans in New Zealand too (RHD of course but the only Pontiac badged model available) at the same time as it was a Daewoo Cielo in Australia and possibly elsewhere. Fun and games with names! |
Goat Boy: | | There is a reason you don't see them on the road anymore. They all came standard with the rear window defroster, that was to keep your hands warm while you were pushing it. |
Mike: | | Goat Boy that comment made me laugh out loud. That was good! |
RobbieT: | | Someone once told me only orange juice and milk should be made in 2 litres definitely not cars! (actually I think these had even less volume than 2 litres) |
latech47: | | When I was trying to get a transport to pickup my car in Arizona the first guy went to get it and said it would not fit on the space on his trailer. This is the car he thought it was. Its a 64 Lemans not this piss bucket. |
