mr_sluggo22: | | One thing that I REALLY HATE THOUGH...Nothing personal to David...not his fault. Is those DAMN DEALERSHIPS and that advertising decal/mounted 3D tag on the car itself. I can see doing the license plate frame with "Joe Blow Pontiac", but I think it tarnishes the car when they add something that can't be easily removed. Dealerships in California (my state) don't seem to do this as much (if ever), as much as Midwest/East Coast dealers do. Can someone please elaborate on this? I just think it "stings" you for life of the car to have that advertisement on it. Great looking Goat though, LOVE THEM 18" WHEELS and that DARKER THAN DARK TINT...SMOKIN' GTO BRO! I have a Quicksilver 2005 too, POW for 5/8/05. Enjoy it! |

I went to a dealership here in Indiana and they had drilled three holes in the front end to mount the license plate holder and then put their dealership name plate on every new GTO. We don't even have a front license plate in Indiana but they did this to all of their new ones. You either have the holes if you take it off, or leave it on and it takes away from the aerodynamics of the front end! This was enough for me to look elsewhere. I guess we could have dealerships like in the 60's that drilled holes in the trunk lid to mount their names. |
Jeff Kishpeoples: | | Before I purchased my first new car I asked the dealer to remove their logo from the car. They refused and said that's something I could remove myself...so I left and went somewhere else. If they were gonna pay me to advertise their dealership...well, then that would be different! |
