HURST : If GM did this to the new GTO, they would charge us $48,600 and the car would weight too much to race it.
John Gregg: Well I don't see them doing it the way I would.. carbon fiber frontend. Carbon fiber trunk lid and rear spoiler.. and the Z-06 from the Vette but pumped up a little. But that would put it over 50k from GM.
maniacs5: NICE! Love the color too. As I know some monitors differ a bit in color range - is this supposed to be a "burnt" red look? Hey, aftermarket suppliers out there - how about a body kit like this with only one more addition - a hood tach! (edited)
John Gregg: The color or this car is just something my photo program came up with and I liked it. I think I could live with this color even on something like a '71 GTO or LeMans.
Firefingers: The best by far! All it needs now is the chrome grilles. PERFECT!
se1963: I'm a Monaro fan and I do think they're a little bland to look at and, yes, it could do with a few mods similar to this one, maybe with VY COMMODORE headlamps, flared wheel archers (not bolt on ones)and for christs sake, theres nothing wrong with the rest of it.
