81X11: And people are upset over the 2004 GTO???????????????????????
thom: I love the Ventura bodies and this 74 is great. Needs work but good. I have a 74 in my garage in the same condition and I can't wait till its done.
gtohenry6469: I bought this car in 2002 from a friend of mine who had listed in on ebay and had no luck selling it. I completely restored the car in 2005 and had to sell it to pay for my wedding. Sold to some great people in Sacramento CA. I had to strip 3 Venturas for the parts for this one. It's good to see people still have interest in the 74's.
Mr66: I've come to the conclusion after almost 20 years experience (off the record of course, please don't tell my wife!) to KEEP THE GTO. Period. Don't sell it for.. A. A stupid reason, B. Another stupid reason, C. You still don't get it?? Then (maybe) you never really deserved it.. that's what CHEVY'S ARE FOR! If you're still not convinced, then D. Go buy a Hyundai, honestly you'll be happy with any 4 wheels and still have a wife left. The point is, don't sell the GTO- IT'S THAT GOOD!
gtohenry6469: You are absolutely right! When I finished this car I had 5 other project cars going including 3 GTO's and a 67 Tempest Sprint. I do still have my first car (64 GTO Marimba Red post coupe in the 64 lots) that was passed down to me and my son will get some day. I just wish I had the money and space to keep them all!
