GTO-HJR: | | No one likes a quitter!!! |
Hawk: | | With 600 hp, this guy is deadly. He can go prowling the streets at night looking for other musclecars to blow their doors off. Suppose he came across a '71 Hemi Charger, for example. Its driver would end up reading the GTO's taillights. |
mysticfalls2004: | | Ok, I go Friday for the first picks of the restoration process. Again the original motor is long gone. It is sporting a 455 motor which came out of a 1970 Pontiac. The nitrous and most of the racing components are being pulled and the car is being returned to a more stock condition (thanks to a 73 GTO parts car). Unfortunately a lot of rust. Both front fenders, door skins and lower rear quarters are being replaced along with a new hood. The car will be Starlight Black. Should be done with the body work and complete motor rebuild by March '07. The interior and custom bumper work will come later. The work is being done by Terry's GTO's in Orlando, Florida now. Check back soon. (edited) |

brandonmarks: | | Where did u get rear quarters for that car? |
charlie: | | As stated in the previous photo, this car is no longer a viable restoration project for me. The hood, rally tach, louver windows and motor have been installed in my other 73 GTO. As to the quarters, these were are full of puddy. (edited) |
